3.0 out of 5 stars The Germans call it "Hits of the WWF: We Gotta Wrestle", February 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: WWF: We Gotta Wrestle - Hits of the World Wrestling Federation (Audio CD)
This is basically a European version of WWF Vol. #2 with a few changes. No Dude Love, no Shamrock, no Sexy Boy theme. This disc has 14 tunes which include Jake "the Snake" Roberts' theme and HBK's short lived "Bad Attitude" theme. Other themes are slightly altered (Snap & Destiny) while another is completely rearranged: Nation of Domination. This cut actually features the rap of J.C. Ice & Wolfie D did when the N.O.D. was brand new. The disc includes some fan stuff: A booklet that lists some of the wrestlers including Double J Jesse James, Jake the Snake, Crush & Brakkus. On a slightly funny sidebar, Marc Mero's picture is listed as Crush, another pic lists Wildman Marc Mero but shows GoldDust & Jesse James scrapping. There's also a 20" X 24" Sunny poster (w/ a wierd list on the back that contains hundreds of German names) & five 1" round stickers of Bret Hart, Sycho Sid, Sunny, Undertaker & HBK. The quality is excellent and well worth the buy if you like subtle changes in the U.S. product or if you are a rabid collector of wrestling lore. I give it 3 stars when compared to the U.S. version.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE TRUTH ABOUT WE GOTTA WRESTLE!!, March 25, 2003

MaveriK (Illinois, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WWF: We Gotta Wrestle - Hits of the World Wrestling Federation (Audio CD)
I've seen alot of reviews for this CD, but never a completely accurate one. First of all, it's NOT the same as WWF Volume 2.
Here is the TRUE LIST of differences between the 2 CDs.
(1) There is no Ken Shamrock or Dude love Theme. (2) Ahmed Johnson (pearl river rip) is 2:43 long on this CD. on volume 2, it was 3:16 long. (3) jake 'the snake' roberts (snake) is on this cd. it is NOT on wwf volume 2. (4) Faarooq (nation of domination) is the ORIGINAL VERSION WITH RAP LYRICS, not just the instrumental from WWF Volume 2. (5) Rocky Maivia (destiny) is the song used by Rocky BEFORE the WWF Volume 2 song. it is completely different and should not even have the same name as the one on Volume 2. (6) Flash Funk (can't get enough) does not have the "oh flash you are so funky" intro. other than that, it's the same. (7) Sunny (i know you want me) is the original version used by Sunny BEFORE WWF volume 2. it makes the volume 2 version look more like a REmix. (8) shawn michaels (bad attitude) is here, but NOT on WWF volume 2. it is song he used for a short time in 1997. THERE YOU HAVE IT!! I hope that EVERYBODY has a clear view of this CD now. It's about time :-) as far as my credibility here, I own both CDs so this is ACCURACY AT IT'S FINEST. Now you can decide for yourself if it's worth the buy. I give it 5 stars. I LOVE IT.

1.0 out of 5 stars About this CD, March 20, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: WWF: We Gotta Wrestle - Hits of the World Wrestling Federation (Audio CD)
This CD is the same as WWF We gotta wrestle. Not to forget, it is the same as WWF THE MUSICS VOL.2 only has Jake The Snake Roberts Theme by removing Ken Shamrocks Theme.
