5.0 out of 5 stars Five star WWF Gameboy Game
I personally think this is the WWF's best Gameboy game, however it is very dated! In fact only Shawn Michaels is the only superstar still in the WWF. There are only eight superstars to chose from, however in return for that they are rather quite big compared to other WWF games. Tons of moves, no finishers though. 3.0 out of 5 stars An OK Game
Overall this is an OK game because of bad graphics, slow play and bad moves. The characters look really weird and the moves stink.I like you can create a wrestler but you just control his speed and power. You cant alter moves or apperance. It is kinda fun,I would recomend it but there are better games out there like wrestlemania 2K.

5.0 out of 5 stars Five star WWF Gameboy Game, June 17, 2001

There are only eight superstars to chose from, however in return for that they are rather quite big compared to other WWF games. Tons of moves, no finishers though. No SGB or CGB compatability though. There is a king of the ring, exhibition, tag team exhibition and a championship to go for, as well as the original create a wrestler function! This game goes along the lines of RAW and Royal Rumble for SNES.

3.0 out of 5 stars In The Middle, April 24, 2000

WWF King of the Ring is an OK game, but lacks a couple things. GOOD = lots of wrestlers, real wwf ring, easy play control BAD = poor animation, no GBC compatability, The overall game isn't really worth it, although it can give you hours of quality fun.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not really King..., September 19, 2004
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: WWF King of the Ring (Game Boy, 1993) (Video Game)
The Good - The cast is pretty extensive for a Game Boy game: Bret Hart, Yokozuna, Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Randy Savage, Mr. Perfect, and a ninth "Create-A-Wrestler" that kind of looks like Tatanka. There is a little bit of variety in single and tag team matches, and, of course, the King of the Ring tournament.

The Bad - The attempt to assign individual speed, strength, and stamina ratings is kind of useless; the wrestlers still run (but don't walk) at the same speed, and Shawn Michaels can slam Yokozuna, anyway. The Create-A-Wrestler can only be customized according to the useless ratings just mentioned and by name, but not by look. Plus, the actual wrestling moves - bodyslam, suplex, and hiptoss - have no effect on your opponent whatsoever. Also, the button-mashing lockup mode doesn't include the Irish whip, which makes the clothesline and hiptoss impossible unless your opponent chooses to charge you. The wrestlers also share the exact same moveset.

The Ugly - The graphics, of course. The ring itself looks good, but the crowd and "concrete" floor look like they were just thrown in there, and the wrestlers (complete with skinny legs, huge bodies, and tiny heads) look cartoonish and goofy. Overall, a bad game with good intentions.

Recommendation to avoid.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not satisified with your ads, December 24, 2004

I ordered the Elimination Chamber and the ad said The Chamber and 2 figures included. When I received it there were no figures and on the box said figures sold seperatly. When I went back into your ad, it then said figures sold seperatly. Had I know there were no figures included I could have been prepared but I didn't open the box until Christmas Eve to wrap it and it is now a little late to go and find the figures. I will not be ordering from this site again, your advertisment was false as far as I am concerned.
