Kurt Angle deserves more then an hour, and also a DVD which is why this gets 4 stars instead of 5, it's true, it's true. Now you may think, "god he's only been in the WWF for a year" well yeah, but look what he's done... a lot. and this video showcases it all. His reign as eurocontinental champion (which he was robbed of in an unfair match against Benoit and Jericho which you can see in this video). You also get to see him become King of The Ring 2000 (And look at the company he joined... Bret Hart, HHH, Owen Hart,). You can see his feud with the Undertaker which was a good way to push Taker in his new gimmick. Plus the defeat of the Rock for the main strap. All in a year. Now you may hear people complain that Kurt Angle is in character, well yeah because it is him. Remember that Angle is an olympic gold medal winner in real life and he does use the 3 I's outside the ring. I don't hear people say the same about Stone Cold and his videos, eventhough he is "in character" during them. So go ahead an buy this because it is a worthy addition to your collection, and where are the DVD versions? Come on Titan Sports.

Kurt Angle has had a sucessful year to say the least. He has accomplished more in one year in the WWF than most people do in a lifetime. His very own home video takes you throught all of his best moments, from winning the Olympic Gold Medal to Capturing The WWF Title. A Must have for Anyone with the Three I's.

Kurt Angle is the best! And this video proves it! From his 1999 opening match at Survivor Series to his controversial WWE heavyweight title victory; this tape covers it all. It also has all the storylines that Kurt was involved in. This tape is great! It's true! It's true!

I must agree with the review titled, "It's Boring, It's Boring!". Most of the WWF "profile" type videos show never before seen clips, and comments about the person. In this case, we are "treated" to an hour of Kurt Angle in character. What makes it worse is that his character isn't all that amusing. Plenty of spoon-fed WWF commentary througout, as is evidenced when Kurt is filming a commercial and is on the set all day, and reminds the director constantly that he is a "WWF Superstar", and they film live all the time. We won't mention how the WWF edits shows to delete blown moves, wrestlers tripping over their lines in interviews, and of course, adding in cheers (aka "sound sweetening"). I was hoping for this tape to be in the same vein as Lita or Chris Jericho's tape. Unfortunately, it isn't, and it takes Angle, who is really a fine athlete and wrestler, and makes him out to be a dweeb. Needless to say, dweebs generally don't get very far, as fans find it difficult to take them seriously as a contender. The fact Angle has made it so far is more a testament to his own abilities than to the WWF creative machine. It's amazing how grating someone can be when shoved down your throat. ("Die, Rocky, Die"). A waste of a good hour of your time, and wear on your VCR heads.

I expected this video to be like an autobiography of Kurt Angle, showing him as a child, growing up, through his Olympic days, all the way to the WWF. This was not the case.

The video is pretty much a non-stop clip of Kurt Angle's highlight matches in the WWF. Not a bad video for someone who missed those matches, but it's nothing new at all. Anyone who taped the Pay Per Views has most of the footage already.

Another annoying concept of the video was having Kurt Angle stay in character. Why not show the real side of Kurt Angle? That's what we want to see. We see enough of the Kurt Angle character on TV every week. How about showing us the Kurt Angle behind the scenes, that we don't know much about (except for the Olympic Gold Medals).

This video was a bummer. Hopefully the WWF will release a video about the Real Kurt Angle, not the character.

Kurt Angle is now my American Hero. I really don't know what else to say. Andy Kaufman fans will especially love him after seeing this.

basic early review of carrear w/o any full matches on vhs. what else would you expect?

There are several complaints that this videotape does not have any insight into who Kurt really is or any of his matches included. This is true. If that is what you are looking for then you'll have to make due with Kurt's autobiography and DVD's of him in PPV's until the WWE or TNA come out with a Kurt Angle DVD sometime in the future.

But for those of us nostalgic for that magical Kurt Angle that captured our imaginations and tickled our funny bones in his first year in the WWE, this videotape is a wonderful trip down memory lane. Kurt stays in his cocky, goofy character the entire documentary and it shows highlights of some of his more entertaining moments.

Since that first year Kurt has slowly transformed himself into a more intense and credible [...]. kicker, but at the expense of his entertainment value. This video shows Kurt at what I feel was his best, simultaneously both a great athlete and entertainer.

You have to see what Rikishi says about Kurt Angle to truly get the meaning of my review title. Kurt Angle had the fastest rise of any WWF superstar, winning every major title in his first year in the industry. He had a banner year, and this video showcases that.

Kurt Angle documents this video completely in character, which was a nice change of pace. The whole video is like a long, well-cut promo of his character, which happens to be thriving on camera right now. Quickly becomming a fan favorite with his crystal clear microphone skills and ability to work with anyone, Angle's stock is constantly on the rise.

This video capsulates his enterance into the World Wrestling Federation as the only superstar with an Olympic Gold Medal. There is some great footage of some of his better matches, including his awesome run at the "King of the Ring" championship. There are also some candid interviews with some of WWF's superstars and non-superstar Steve Lombardi a.k.a. the Brooklyn Brawler on their views of Angle and his "Three I's."

This video is quite entertaining, and put together nicely. The WWF constantly puts out exceptionally well-done products, and this video is just another complete effort. This video is guaranteed to make you tap out. It's true. It's true.
