3.0 out of 5 stars Survival of the Fittest!
This was the PPV where Rock collided against Rikishi, Undertaker battled Kurt Angle, and Stone Cold Steve Austin destroying Triple H. This was the PPV where Rock collided against Rikishi, Undertaker battled Kurt Angle, and Stone Cold Steve Austin destroying Triple H. This wasn't the greatest Survivor Series, but it was much better than Survivor Series 99'. Some of the matches where dull while some where good, my reviews down below.

6-person intergender tag team match
T&A and Trish Stratus vs. Steve Blackman, Crash Holly and Molly Holly
Good opener with the crowd getting into this match, the women kind of ruined this match.

Survivor Series elimination match
Radicalz vs. Billy Gunn, Chyna, Road Dogg and K-Kwik
Fast paced action, but got slow towards the end.

Chris Jericho vs. Kane
Okay match, but a little bit boring. Their match at Armageddon was better.

WWE European title match
William Regal vs. Hardcore Holly
Short match, with a terrible ending.

Rock vs. Rikishi
Great match with a lot of action, pretty short though.

WWE Women's title match
Lita vs. Ivory
Pretty good, but the ending was a DUD.

WWE Championship match
Kurt Angle vs. Undertaker
Long and slow. This was a good match, but Kurt Angle slowed it down too much. Shocking ending though.

Survivor Series elimination match
Hardy Boyz and Dudley Boyz vs. Edge & Christian and Right To Censor
Better than the first elimination match at the beginning of the night with a lot more action and tables!

No Disqualification match
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Triple H
I was expecting this match to be real quick and with Austin beating the hell out of HHH, but instead this match turned out to be kind of slow. These two have had better matches and this wasn't it. The ending is pretty crazy.

So there you have it, this was an okay Survivor Series with a couple of good matches and some dull matches. Check out Survivor Series 2001.

3.0 out of 5 stars WWF Survivor Series 2000: Rattlesnake's Revenge, August 20, 2005
By
Sniper3:16 (Perth, WA, Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WWF: Survivor Series 2000 (DVD)
Six-Person Intergender Tag Team Match:
Steve Blackman, Crash Holly, & Molly Holly vs. Test, Albert, & Trish
This was a real let down it was a good match although it did not carry anything special with it that I expected it to do. Molly portrays her ring skill and that's about it. 5.5/10

Classic 8 Man Tag Elimination Survivor Series Match:
Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, & Perry Saturn V. Chyna, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, & K-Kwik
Good match that had the potential to be an excellent match. Firstly it was too short for an 8 man elimination match and also again nothing special was seen during the match. K-Kwik gave a really good short-lived performance and the Road Dogg was terrible in this match. Billy Gunn was the only wrestler of his team that knew what he was doing throughout the match. In the End of the match Beniot & Saturn barely survived cheating on Billy Gunn. 6/10

Chris Jericho vs. Kane
This could just maybe the match of the night of the Survivor Series. There was plenty of action in and out of the ring between these two. Plenty of near falls and counters by both Kane & Jericho. Anyway a well put together match-up resulting in Kane winning with his chokeslam. 8.5/10

WWF European Championship:
William Regal (c) vs. Hardcore Holly
A terrible match with Regal trying to break Holly's arm resulting in Holly getting all pissed off and grabs the title and whacks Regal in the face with it. 4.5/10

The Rock vs. Rikishi
I thought that this was a not bad of a match considering the Rock's supposedly physical condition. A cool moment was when Rock got stink-faced and then Rock clotheslined Rikishi and turned him into a complete somersault flip. Rock wins with the help from the people. 7/10

WWF Womens Championship:
Ivory (c) vs. Lita
An average match with a heroic performance by Lita who was bleeding above her eye throughout the match. 5/10

WWF Championship:
Kurt Angle (c) Vs. Undertaker
This should've been the damn main event of the whole ppv what a match!!! Undertaker completely dominated Angle almost winning the match about three times. I love the ending where Taker Last rides Angle although it's not Kurt Angle its Eric Angle his brother leading to a school boy by Angle to retain the wwf title. 9/10

Classic 8 Man Tag Elimination Survivor Series Match:
Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, D-Von Dudley, & Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Edge, Christian, The Goodfather & Bull Buchanan
Finally an elimination match that is really worth watching way better than the last two. The action was great and at a really fast pace throughout the match. The match was a little bit short although it did not affect the value of the match at all. 7.5/10

No Disqualification Match:
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Triple H
Not main event material but certainly worth a watch. This match was very brutal and HHH literally got his ass kicked. Weapons used included ring bell, announce tables, chairs and soda machines. The ending was great where HHH was in that car that was elevated by Austin's forklift and then he dropped the car. A spectacular finish and yes the Rattlesnake indeed gets his revenge upon HHH 9.5/10.

Overall mark 63.5/90 which is 69% that roughly is a B meaning Survivor Series is not really worth purchasing on DVD or VHS its better viewed via rental. I recommend buying this ppv only if you really want it to your wwe collection. Thankyou for reading my review on Survivor Series 2000.

5.0 out of 5 stars Austin's Revenge Or The Greatest Survivor Series, July 14, 2001
By

This review is from: WWF: Survivor Series 2000 (DVD)
• Six-Person Intergender Tag Team Match **** star match • Elimination Match: Radicalz vs. "The One" Billy Gunn, Chyna, Road Dogg, and K-Kwik**** star match • Chris Jericho vs. Kane**** star match • European Championship *1/2 star match • The Rock vs. Rikishi ***** star match • Women's Championship Match: Ivory vs. Lita ***1/2 star match • Championship Match: Kurt Angle vs. Undertaker **** star match • Elimination Match: Hardy Boyz and Dudley Boyz vs. Edge & Christian and RTC ***** star match • Stone Cold vs. Triple H ***** star match The Intergender match was cool because it showed how tough Molly is. Trish shouldn't wrestle. She is not too good. The Radicalz Vs. The One, Chyna, K-Kwik, and Road Dogg was a great match which showed the Radicalz great team work.. Jericho and Kane was a great match where Jericho put up the fight of his life, but the Big Red Machine was just too much. The European Title match was the only DUD and it was a major DUD. Rock Vs. Rikishi was a great match and even know Rock won the fight Rikishi won the war with four consecutive Banzani Drops on the Rock’s already injured chest. The Women's Title match showed a mean streak in Ivory. Lita had the match if it wasn't for that white socks nerd Steven Richards. The WWF title match was a screw job to the extreme. The Undertaker must have had the title won 3 times, but thanks to Eric, Kurt's brother, there was no new champ. The second Elimination match was better then the first one. Jeff Hardy survived than afterward the RTC got some wood compliments of the Hardyz and Dudleyz. The Main Event was great and the Game fell 40+ feet, which was Austin's revenge. Great Pay-Per-View.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ok... absolutely dumb, February 6, 2001
By
customer (Massachusetts) - See all my reviews
Good thing I only rented this video instead of bought it. It is totally boring and stupid! This is one that you don't want. The two traditional Series matches made me fall asleep. The only good matches in this lousy pay per view are Rock vs. Rikishi, Kane vs. Jericho, world title was o.k., and main event. 4 matches out of nine is bad! Trust me, only buy this if you like to collect wrestling videos.

3.0 out of 5 stars Survivor series 2000 is a 3 star ppv, April 16, 2006
This review is from: WWF: Survivor Series 2000 (DVD)
80-76%-perfect
75-71%-awsome
70-66%-good
65-61%-poor
60-56%-awful

1. Molly Holly and crash and steve blackman vs. TandA and trish- This was an okay way to kick off the show. This was only given 5 mintues and i felt like they put this here for a filler. It was average just some good action but nothing u would want to watch more than once. Winners Molly Holly and crash and steve blackman. Match Rating 5.5/10.

2. The Radicals vs. Chyna and billy gun and road dog and K-quick in an elmination match- this was alot better than the first match. All of these people have talent that were in this ring. i have always liked the surivor series elmination matches. This was just some soild wrestling and given the time it needed but nothing special. Winners the radicals. Match Rating 7/10.

3. Kane vs. Y2J- This was the first really good match of the night. This kind of had a dumb storyline to it but it brought more intensity to the match. This was the first big match of there long fued and it was preatty good. More big man little man stuff but this was one of kanes better matches. Just some good back and forth action. A good match to watch. Winner Kane. Match Rating 7.5/10.

4. William Regal vs. Hardcore Holly for the europen title- This was not a good match at all. This did not get the crowd into it at all and this also seemed more like a filler to cool the crowd down after the first match. this had a horriable ending withg a dq and you wont want to watch this match more than one time. Winner and stiil europen champ william regal. Match Rating 2.5/10.

5. The Rock vs. Rikishi- This was a good match. i usually dont care for most of rikishis matches but this one seemed to be good. This was right when rikishi was in the title secene which made this match better because of the fued that was going on. Some goo sellin gby the rock and everyone was behind him. A well put together match by the wwe and some near falls as well. Winner The Rock. Match Rating 8/10.

6. Lita vs. Ivory for the womens title- This was another bad match. It was alright for a womens match but i just could not get into it at all. The corwd was out of this one and it was to much one sided offense. I think you will wnat to skip this match. Winner and still womens champ Ivory. Match Rating 3/10.

7. Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle for the wwe title- This was a really good title match. If i had to say one problem with this match is that it was worked to much on takers leg. Besides that this was an awsome match. It started out great with angle tricking taker and hiting him with the chair. Lots of near falls and outside interference. I think this was a really good first title defense for kurt. The ending is awsome and really unpredictable. it is tricky and you are going to wantto watch this match. Good match overall. Winner and still wwe champ Kurt Angle. Match Rating 8.5/10.

8. The dudleys and hardys vs. Right to censor and edge and christian in an elemination match- This was better than the first elemination match. This was a good way to cool the crowd down but it didnt at the same time because it was a good match. An average match but very entertaing and the eleminations were set up right. A nice comeback at the end by Jeff hardy. Also some great aftermath with the dudleys putting right toi censor through tables. Winners the dudleys and hardys. Match Rating 7.5/10.

9. Stone Cold vs. HHH no DQ- This was an awsoe way to close off the show. I think it was a great idea to add this no dq to the match it helped it alot. This was there first match of there series that they would have over the next few months and i would say this one was preatty good. It was also not austin dominating the whole match like i thought it would be just for pay back. Lots of blood from hhh chirs, ring bell tables and a sweet ending that you willhave to see to believe. Winner no contest. Match Rating 9.5/10.

Well that raps up another. I would give survivor series 2000 a grade of 59/90 which is a 66% which means this is a good ppv. This would have been alot better but the womens and europen title brought it down. If you can tell me if my review was helpful or not i would appericate that. Thanks for your time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Austin V Triple H with No DQ!, June 28, 2004
This review is from: WWF: Survivor Series 2000 (DVD)
Survivor Series 2000

T&A and Trish Stratus V Crash, Molly Holly and Steve Blackman
A pretty good opener and it got the crowd pumped. Molly pins Trish to win the match for her team. 6/10

Road Dogg, K-Kwik, Chyna and Billy Gunn V The Radicalz
This was a traditional survivor series match, and it was pretty long. At one point Billy was alone against 3 Radicalz. Overall a decent match but nothing amazing. 6/10

Chris Jericho V Kane
A good match with a good build-up behind it. Kane wins with a chokeslam, but later in the night Jericho attacks Kane backstage, which leads to their last man standing match the next month at Armageddon 2000. 7/10

European Title
William Regal V Hardcore Holly
The worst match of the night, and it was only booked on Heat earlier that night. Not truly awful, but not good at all either. 4/10

Rikishi V The Rock
A quite good match, but it could have been better. Rikishi dominates a lot of the match. After Rock wins with a people's elbow Rikishi gives Rock 4 banzai drops. 7/10

Women's Title
Ivory V Lita
Ivory cheats to win the match win help from Steven Richards. Lita gets busted open near her eye, but she finishes the match. It was good for a women's match and it wasn't too long. 5/10

WWE Title
Kurt Angle V Undertaker
A good match, with Undertaker almost winning about 3 times. Kurt taps out to an arm lock when the ref isn't looking, and also Edge and Christian interfere distracting the ref and so stopping Taker from getting a 3 count. At the end Kurt goes under the ring, but Taker pulls him out and last-rides him for a 3, however the ref realises it's not Kurt, but his brother Eric. Kurt comes from the other side and rolls up Taker for the win. 8/10

Edge & Christian and Bull Buchanan & Goodfather V Hardy Boys and Dudley Boys
A fantastic survivor series match with the Hardys and Dudleys working great as a team. Some great moves, and in the end only Jeff is left but he wins the match. Afterwards RTC attack him but Matt and the Dudleys come back out and it all results in Val and Richards both going through tables. 8/10

No Disqualification Match
Stone Cold Steve Austin V Triple H
Best match of the night, with Triple H being busted open by a monitor and put through the announce table. Then they fight backstage where the Radicalz attack Austin and Triple H goes away to the parking area and get in a car. Austin gets away and chases Benoit into the parking area, which is a set up so HHH can run over Austin again. Benoit goes off to look for Austin as HHH waits in the car, but then Austin uses a forklift to pick up the car with HHH still in it and then drops it from a great height. A rather dramatic ending, which was a bit too unbelievable, but overall a great match. However, if you want Austin and HHH's best match check out their 3 Stages of Hell match at No Way Out 2001. 9/10

Overall a very solid PPV. The main event is great and there are some other cool matches too.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Rules Have Changed, March 5, 2001
By
Chad Spivak (North Miami Beach, Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WWF: Survivor Series 2000 (DVD)
Yes, needles to say, this Survivor Series went above and beyond the average norm, and this DVD "rocks!"

The main event pitted "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, one of the largest personas ever to enter the "squared circle" against Triple H, arguably the best in the business at the moment. These two athletes thrive off of each other, and the main event on this card shows that. The ending of the match is unbelievable, and is truly worth the entire price of this amazing DVD.

In other highlights, the Rock vs. Rikishi match was excellent, as Mr. Stinky Face himself had his coming out party in a "large" way. Rikishi showed that he could raise the level of his performance.

Kurt Angle vs. the Undertaker was another outstanding match. These two superstars layed it all on the line in a fierce battle, and the ending was somewhat surprising.

Haven't heard enough to buy this yet? Check out Kane vs. Chris Jericho. Two wrestlers that have completely different styles match up in an excellent bout.

Overall, this is an excellent DVD. The post-card wrap-up is a really nice addition. Besides that, this card has the first Stone Cold vs. HHH match, which is sure to be a classic rivalry in the future. Seeing as how Survivor Series is one of the original four Pay-Per-Views, owning this DVD is a must for all wrestling fans.
