Product Description

CD DREAMWORKS, 450 336-2, 13 Track

Amazon.com

Looking for music to practice body slams by? Look no further: the soundtrack from MTV's "reality" series WWF Tough Enough provides enough musical mayhem to keep those testosterone levels elevated for weeks. Kicking off the first track, Drowning Pool's growled injunction "Let the bodies hit the floor" sets the tone for the whole enterprise. This is aggro-rock at its most belligerent, with shrieking buzzsaw guitars and riffs heavier than Man Mountain Dean. Highlights include Alien Ant Farm's unlikely, head-banging cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal," the Deftones' anthemic "Digital Bath," and Mudvayne's screamfest "Dig." Buckcherry's "Slamin'" brings to mind AC/DC or early G&R and is such a slice of old-fashioned ass-kicking raunch you just might want to scrub underneath your fingernails afterwards. Also included are live versions of songs from Disturbed and Papa Roach as well as a track by a currently unsigned band, the subtly named Big Mother Thruster. Kids, don't try this at home. --Mary Park

This is a great cd!! A lot of the songs on this CD are really the only good songs on their own albums...take Alein Ant Farm's Smooth Criminal. That is a great song but on the Alein Ant Farm CD it is the ONLY good song, so this cd gives you tons of great songs that appear to be one hit wonders for some of the groups and they are all available on one great kick butt cd. Every song on this cd rocks!! I use it for lifting, when I am out running, and if I am just sitting around. I can never see this cd getting old. This CD was perfectly put together for hours and hours of enjoyable listening.

When I bought this CD I was not sure how it would sound but the second I put this baby into my car stereo the base was bouncing! From Drowning Pool to Mudvayne the rocking out went almost non-stop. AAF was a little too "POP" for me but the rest went all out. It even has live preformances by Papa Roach and Disturbed! GET THIS CD, GET THIS CD!!!

This CD is awesome, it has some of my favorite bands on it, like PM5K and Mudvayne, and all the songs totally rock! I've never seen the show, but it must be cool cuz it has a chillin soundtrack. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to rock out cuz this cd introduces you to a lot of different bands, and you will love it!!

From start to finish, this CD is AMAZING. Every track kicks ...(butt). Disturbed Rocks and the Alien Ant Farm song is awesome. The Theme song is Killer, right from the show...perfect for blasting in the car or the gym. You gotta buy this CD!

A good CD with good music, the only rather disappointing thing is that Maven's (Tough Enough Winner) Entrance Music isnt on the CD

As you can expect, this is a modern disc, and it is also a mix of the best songs lately, or at least a year or two ago. The songs all go through a hard rock or metal center, and are bordered by not-so-intense sides, making for not much variety. That is good and bad, depeneding on your personal tastes. If you are an open person, this is a good disc. If you like modern rock and metal, this isn't a bad pick. Those who don't like hard rock or metal won't like this one. I liked it a little, but it got old really, really fast.
