About the Author

Joan Buzick is a former teacher, and the founder and past director of Little Fiddler Academy, a child development center located in Avenel, New Jersey. She has master's degrees in applied psychology and educational administration. She has worked as an evaluation consultant for CTB/McGraw-Hill, and is known nationally for her engaging and thought-provoking workshops and keynote presentations. Lindy Judd, has worked in the fields of social work, drug and alcohol counseling, and Christian ministry for over twenty years. She is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Currently, she is a clinical outreach representative for Mountainside Treatment Center in Connecticut. James Kevin Sullivan is an award-winning illustrator and designer whose works span adult fiction, university level textbooks, K-12 textbooks, children's books, magazines, and newspapers. He is a consultant for various New York area publishing companies.

I have incorportated this book and song into our daily routine at our YMCA Child Care Center. What a great motivator for both children and staff. The children love to follow along in the book and quickly learn all the words. Its the kind of tune you find yourself humming all day long. A great way to strike up conversations between adults and children because it is so uplifting. It is a terrific addition to any child care environment.

Want a great way to teach your children skills that will last into adulthood while creating fun family memories? This book is it! Focusing on the positives in our lives is a wonderful habit we can instill in our children. What a great reminder for us adults as well! I have used this book with children and adults alike as I work to educate child care practitioners. Everyone leaves with a smile on their face when this book is used as a closing to our class.
