Music for Dreamers, August 14, 2003

I'm a big fan of the Patlabor films. Even WXIII! This sountrack is alot like the music Kenji Kawai did for Ghost in the Shell. Eerie percussive pieces mixed with Synth dreamscapes. The reason why I'm not giving it a 5th star is that its too short('round 45 minutes!) I'd listen to hours of this. Maybe its why I've been listening to it everyday since I got it(6 days ago!) It reminds me of the BladeRunner sndtrk but with better production. Best pieces are track 15(Sonata fur Klavier Nr.8/Beethoven)and 17(Ending). Everytime I listen to it with my eyes closed I wished I was on a white sand beach with the wind blowing softly, palm trees dancing... But I don't know why! Weird!!!
