I like the Waco Brothers. I truly do. In fact., I tend to like all of Jon Langford's alter egos. (e.g. Pine Valley Cosmonauts; Mekons). "Freedom and Weep" is still in my highest rotation storage location.

That said there is no reason to listen to this. It is absolutely unremarkable. I've tried it cruising down the interstate. I've tried blasting it in my music room. I've had it on as background music. I tried all of those methods to see if there was reason to keep listening.

Nope.

It's not annoyingly unlistenable. It's just dull. I keep my cds in three locations. Those that I've put in boxes I'll most likely never listen to again. This disc has been boxed but a couple of weeks after the first listen.
