No matter WHAT I do the lines are always shaky. Not slightly, enough to throw off the whole drawing. I tried reinstalling drivers and restarting. Nothing. So I decided, ok must be a bad one. Lets get a replacement. NOPE! Still doesn't work. I've used a wacom before with no problems, and my lines are smooth on that one. It isn't my hand shaking, its the tablet itself. I loved this tablet except for the shaky lines and wish there was some way to fix it. I'll be refunding the replacement as well and saving my money for something else.

The lines are too shaky, they look like they are written by someone while riding a bicycle. My old bamboo tablet was vastly superior to this.I wish I hadn't upgraded.

Love the Manga downloadable program. Finding the serial number for it was a little confusing, so I asked on the message forum for help. After one non-helpful "nicetryguy comment", someone was kind enough to see I was trying to find out the location of the serial number- not the serial number itself.
So for anyone else having the same question, you can find the serial number information in an email that will be sent to you once you register your product.
I absolutely love this program. It is easy and simple to use , and the software Manga Debut 4.0 is incredible. Once you watch the tutorial videos, you can begin exploring the depths of your imagination in the digital art world!

Previously I owned a Bamboo Craft. It was a bit frustrating to use because of the software, and the form factor wasn't comfortable. I also found myself struggling to get the pen to be accurate. It just didn't feel natural.

I upgraded to the Intuos Manga Pen not because I thought it would work better, but solely on the basis that I fell in love with the new form factor of the product. It's extremely comfortable.

What surprised me, however, was the new software and accuracy. Not only does the software allow you to calibrate the device to match your screen(s), but the detection just feels much more natural than the Bamboo. I can sit and sketch without feeling like the device is holding me back - Now I'm only holding myself back!

I know this model is (technically) a rebranded Bamboo, but between the new software, form factor, and the fact that they did something to eliminate the accuracy problems of the Bamboo line, I think there are definitely some new features in here that are not advertised. It becomes easy to forget that you're using a tablet - It feels like paper! Something that I have never experienced before with previous budget Wacom models.

As far as the software goes, I feel the Manga model comes with more useful tools than the standard. The hardware, however, is identical - So just choose the one that suits your needs better. Especially considering that both models are priced identically.

Oh, and the replacement tips are here! They're hard to find though. There's a cover on the back where the replacement tips are stored, but you may miss it because they're not actually inside of the compartment. Instead, they're clipped behind the cover of the compartment. Confusing since the manual doesn't explain this, but it's actually a clever design once you realize how and why Wacom decided to do this.

This tablet is absolutely amazing for the price I paid. I chose this after a lot of research, it's the first one I've ever used. A lot of people have said that it's frustrating to get used to a tablet...but I honestly had no problem whatsoever, thank goodness. In my opinion, the small is a perfect size, which is something that I was actually a bit nervous about.

Pros: The packaging was super cute.
Comfortable pen, perfect size, easy to get the hang of. Does what it's meant to do.
I like that it comes with Manga Studio Debut 4 and Anime Studio (debut?) 9. I don't use either, but I do eventually want to upgrade to Manga Studio 5 EX, and this saved me from having to potentially spend a LOT more money.
I love the eraser on the end of the pen, it makes life 10x easier!
I don't know how other tablets are, but the pressure sensitivity is wonderful.
It's very lightweight, therefore super portable. If I wanted to I could take it absolutely anywhere.

Cons: I constantly find myself having to restart the tablet when I turn on my computer, even from sleep mode. Otherwise I get a pop up saying something about the tablet not running, or installed, or something along those lines, and the pressure sensitivity does not work. It was very annoying at first, but now it's just what I do before I open any programs.
The cord is short, but I don't need a lot of length in the first place.
The surface scratches up VERY easily. Cosmetically it is upsetting, but it doesn't interfere with anything.
The right click button on the pen gets in the way all the time, and I always find myself accidentally pressing it.

Overall I really, really love this as my first tablet, and I think it'll last me a long time. I definitely recommend this for anyone who is thinking about getting one just to try out, and warm up to.

It does everything it says it would. You can also adjust the pad's sensitivity to your liking, which can make your pad feel like drawing on paper.

really love my great little tablet this was my first digital pen tablet and its amazing it took alot to get use to since i never used one and was use to pen and real paper but i love my tablet now. cant wait to get so familiar with it its like second nature since i want to be a cartoonist, but this is a good tablet for beginners atleast for a good price and this version comes with anime studio debut 9, and manga studio 4,my only real complaint about this tablet is if its not plugged in when the computer is starting up there is some difinie lag to the point that you will have to restart, this doesnt happen always sometimes you can just plug it in but thats the only real complain or pain having to reboot my laptop to use the pen tablet. But i highly recommend this if this is your first tablet and just want to dabble and get use to this newer way of art. Enjoy

I've had a few different wacoms this one being the most up to date. Its small but it definitely gets the job done. It doesn't come with spare nibs like all my other tablets did which was happy about. It has a wireless capability, but you have to buy the card for it seperately which also is a downer. All in all though its a good product. I recommend any wacome product if your serious about digital artwork.

This was for my kids (12 &14). They love it. It took a few minutes to get used to because you are looking at the computer screen rather than where you are actually drawing. They are both true artists, so it didn't take them long. The thing they wanted this one most for is by the pressure you use determines the thickness of the lines you draw. That sold them on this one and it works great.

I have several Wacom products, as I learn digital drawing. Two pluses drew me to purchase this one. The first was obvious from the description: it has the capacity for wireless operation, with the available adapter. The second plus I discovered once I started using it with the adapter... it balances nicely in my hand, so I can pick it up off the desk and make more accurate lines. (Besides, the stylus has an eraser end on it -- if I do make a mistake.) This Intuos even has the ability to turn "touch" off and on -- which keeps me from "smudging" the drawing with my palm or finger when I get tired.
