The two DC portable power outlets have overload protection for 12 volt appliances, a 110 volt recharger for home use and a quick and easy recharging time of 34 hours for AC, 14 hours for DC. The one USB power port will power and recharge most USB devices such as MP3 players, cell phones and more. This unit also comes with a built-in work light, battery status indicator lights and built-in safety features to prevent sparking.

The jumpstarter was purchased because my car failed to start on its own one very cold morning. It arrived within two days, and I haven't had to use it personally however my neighbors car did the same and I lent it to him he started first try. Since then we've had power problem outages and I've used the light and battery power to run my laptop and printer. throught the usb port. So far the best buy in the worst winter we've had since 1993.

I gave this as a Christmas present and recently found out that after a few uses the unit sparked, smoked and stopped working. It is a piece of junk.

This has already paid for itself in saving me time and money. I have a slow drain that is too expensive to trace... so I use the jump starter fairly often. It works great and I love it!
