Works great,

This product works great and is sturdy. The price is right. It powers a Garmin Nuvi 265T and a Blackberry Curve or two Blackberries at the same time. It takes a couple minutes for the Garmin to connect using the USB in the car instead of the adapter that comes with the GPS. The Nuvi probably is looking to connect to the computer with the USB so it takes a bit more time. The Palm Centro won't charge on this adapter. But I think the problem is probably due to the Palm rather than the charger.
The best thing about this adapter is its small size and it is very quiet. If you need an AC outlet, DieHard 140-Watt Power Inverter with Built-in USB Port would be a great choice. April 2011 Update - One of the ports broke after more than one year of heavy use. So I ordered one Scosche Dual USB Car Charger and another one of the Wagan Traveler Adapter. The Scosche is a little shorter but the ports are loose. Both worked fine. I prefer the Wagan over the Scosche. The cables plug in securely with the Wagan whereas the Scosche cable connections are loose.

Good product. I've had crappy ones before. This one does what it says and seems sturdy enough. Not much more to say it's just an adapter! ;-)

Incredibly relieved it only cost $10 rather than the $40 Garmin charges for the same thin, brittle plastic with the exact same mold forms and marks. When it falls apart, like its Garmin cousin did, I'll try to salvage some of the circuitry for inclusion in a more robust tool.
