Each spray tip is made from durable tungsten-carbide, the same material used by professional paint sprayers. The result is added durability, longer lifespan, and better performance over the outdated steel and ceramic spray tips found on other guns.
And with a rotatable tip guard, the Project Power Painter can change direction to paint up and down or side to side. Just rotate the tip guard for maximum versatility.
Flow-Control Dial Puts Versatility and Precision at Your Fingertips
The Project Power Painter features an easy flow-control function for dialing in the perfect spray pattern for the material you're using. Thicker spray materials work best at the higher-flow positions, while thinner spray materials work best at the lower-flow positions. The lower the flow, the closer you can get to your work and the less overspray you will have. Changing the spray pattern is as easy as turning the flow control knob counterclockwise to increase the amount of paint flow and turning it clockwise to decrease it.
Spray up to 4.8 Gallons per Hour
Powerfully built, the Project Power Painter lets you spray up to 4.8 gallons per hour, making fast work of big projects. Spray material from the one-quart reservoir, which will hold plenty of paint for your next large project.
Smart Design Provides Comfort and Ease of Use
The Project Power Painter's easy-to-grip handle provides all-day comfort for larger painting projects, and the sprayer's lightweight construction allows for comfortable one-handed operation. The Project Power Painter sets up in less than five minutes: simply plug the sprayer into a standard 120-volt socket and you're ready to start painting. Cleanup takes less than ten minutes with the included cleaning brush.
The Project Power Painter with Optimus Technology is backed by a one-year limited warranty.

What a waste...,
By
This review is from: Wagner 0525010 Project Power Painter with Optimus (Tools & Home Improvement)
I bought this product at Lowe's and there are a few things I don't like about it. First, this "sprayer" makes the loudest racket. It sounds like a jackhammer. Do your neighbors a favor and give them a heads up before use. Second, this product has two settings: splatter and miss. Regardless of the pressure used via the knob on the back of the gun and the distance at which you hold the gun from your target, you either apply too much to the surface causing it to run and splatter or you apply too little because the overspray mists and completely misses the target. Customer service turned out to be completely useless. Thankfully, Lowe's has an awesome return policy. My recommendation: find another product. I am going back to the old fashioned pan and roller.

I got this at Home Depot and even using Wagner thinner I couldn't get it to atomize. It only makes a splatter.Don't get it. I'm online right now trying to find some other product that actually sprays.

The worst tool I have ever owned,
This review is from: Wagner 0525010 Project Power Painter with Optimus (Tools & Home Improvement)
My least favorite task in any home project is painting - I bought the Wagner spray painter to try to make the painting task a bit more bearable...Without any doubt, this is the worst tool that I have ever purchased. The spray is inconsistent, and I am only able to get about 10 seconds of operation before the tool needs to be completely disassembled and cleaned out. The problem is that while you are using the sprayer, you will need to stop continually to brush the paint splatter which the sprayer produces. All reviews that I read (after purchasing) are poor - - Do not convince yourself that you will be able to somehow figure out how to work this tool properly. Either buy a higher-grade tool, or stick with your brushes.
