First I have to say, as one reviewer said, the two rollers in the package I bought were exactly the same, not two different ones as in the picture. That said, they do make a beautiful random pattern if you blend it like the product is intended to do. I first painted the walls with a flat paint, then used semi-gloss in two varying shades (I chose shaded of grey). Each color of the paint is mixed with Zinsser Blend & Glaze and Zinsser Glaze Extender (1/3 each part). When poured into each side of the two part tray as you roll (and roll and roll) they will eventually blend together, and although it's not a "quick" trick as it does take some time and repetition to get the nice blended look. It is so worth the work! I did this in every room in my salon and get compliments on the finish all the time. The nice part of that particular brand of glaze product is that it made the surface very washable without the high sheen of regular semi-gloss paint. It has a feel simular to wall paper. I have never used any other brand of glaze, so I cannot say others do or don't have the same effect. My son says it looks like the background in his school pictures.

I had been looking for these items and the price is reasonable. However, when I received them, I was very disappointed. You may see in the picture, it appears that there are two rollers that will roll differently. The package contains two identical rollers that are not nearly as well suited as these. The enclosed ones left a pattern that I did not care for instead of a random marking.

I was very disappointed with these rollers - all they did was soak up paint and when I tried to roll
them on the wall, the paint just squirted all over. I would not recommend these to anyone.
The foam rollers work much better.

Let me begin by saying that I love the Original Wall Magic set by Wagner.The original covers that it came with when it first came out in the 1990s were fabulous. These "Rag Roll" roller covers suck. I ended up redoing my wall with the other covers after using these. This particular design does a terrible job. The ones that look like regular sponges glued on to plastic rollers do a much better job of making designs and patterns. Also, it is important to realize that if you bought the Original Wall Magic set by Wagner when it first came out, these covers will NOT fit your dual roller. The diameter is bigger on these newer ones than on the original. The newer Wall Magic set by Wagner kit that is available on amazon will fit these. It looks like the older version at a glance but has some distinct differences. The newer paint tray doesn't hold nearly as much paint, and like I said, the old roller covers do not fit it. I wish Wagner hadn't changed this product. The originals were much better. Good luck.
