The new BI2200 is designed for the home inspection industry. This pin-free product uses state-of-the-art electromagnetic wave technology. The BI2200 has the ability to measure a wide range of selectable building materials that includes stucco, plaster, drywall/sheetrock, ceramic tile, linoleum, shingles, roofing, and more. This non-invasive meter will safely penetrate through paint, varnish, wallpaper, tiles and roofing felt. The large, easy to read digital display contains a data hold feature and low battery indicator.

Great and appears to be accurate meter. Saved me $5000 right out of the box by showing no moisture when an "expert" was saying I needed to tear the wall out to remove the water and wet areas. Meter was correct.

When searching for a product like this I looked at a lot of moisture meters. I saw nothing out there that compared to the capabilities of this one. It has different settings for reading moisture levels in a variety of building materials.I am a professional certified mold inspector and find this meter to be indispensable in my work. I often need to get moisture level readings from concrete slabs and foundation walls. This meter uses a pin-less electromagnetic technology that enables it get moisture readings up to 3/4 of an inch into the concrete non-invasively. The hold setting for the display is very useful for me when using my digital camera to document my findings for my report. It comes with a convenient holster with a spring clip for attaching it to your belt or waistband of your pants or pocket opening. The auto-off feature helps to conserve your battery, although the unit has shut off on me a couple of times when I was trying to get a decent photo of a moisture level reading for documentation. Overall, an excellent product, highly recommended.
