Editorial Reviews

With this recording the great baritone Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau once bade farewell to his public as a vocalist: together with two other great Wagner (singers soprano Julia Varady and tenor Peter Seiffert), he performs scenes from three of the Bayreuth master's operas, accompanied by the Bavarian State Orchestra, which he conducts himself from the rostrum.
