Brake pads for 2001 A6 Sedan,

Installed these last week on my 2001 A6 sedan (2.8L Quattro) along with new disks (not from Amazon). Braking performance feels the same as previous pads - PBR "Metal Masters". This set was a restock, but the pads were still in their shrinkwrap. Thickness of friction material came in at 10mm, whereas the Bently manual says nominal pads are 12mm. So, these may not last as many miles as some other pad choices.
