4.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice, But Not Perfect
I have been carrying a money clip rather than a full wallet for about two years, and recently traded a traditional leather money clip for this one. 3.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking wallet but...
I had this wallet for several years now. This wallet is cool to show off to your friends and random strangers. However, I would advise that you don't put it in your back pocket because it tears a hole in your pocket (edges are sharp) and it's hard to sit on since its metal. This wallet is all for looks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice, But Not Perfect, November 8, 2011

This review is from: Swiss Wallet
I have been carrying a money clip rather than a full wallet for about two years, and recently traded a traditional leather money clip for this one. With store cards, discount cards, membership cards, and everything else, I have many more than five credit cards to carry, but the truth is that I only have 2-3 that I use with any regularity. All those extra cards get stored separately in a case that stays in my car, and so while I've felt the limitation of only five cards, it is an easily remedied problem [and much better than the back problems that can result from sitting on a stack of 20+ cards in your back pocket all day].

This clip fits nicely and lays flat in a front pocket. It does scratch a little, primarily because I keep it with my keys, but the scratches are minor and superficial and very difficult to see, at least on the silver color I purchased. It holds up to five credit cards very securely. With a leather money clip, I'd had instances where a sudden move caused my entire stack of cards to slide out across the floor; there's no chance of that happening with the Wagner clip. I can shake it back-and-forth as hard as I can and the cards don't budge.

My only complaint is with the belt/money clip portion of this wallet. It is a metal spring clip that seems to be designed much more as a belt clip than as a way of carrying cash bills. The first problem is the placement: It opens from the opposite end than the credit card opening, leaving you feeling a little unclear which end is up; also, it is placed so that the closed end of the clip is about 1/2" away from the edge of the wallet--folded in half, bills still protrude all the way to the other end of the wallet or even a bit beyond. Secondly, the clip is only tight at the open end; bills tend to pivot and turn around that point, nearly sliding out. Who's going to want to clip this to their belt or bag, and where would you put your cash? I think the attached clip could be much better designed for holding cash, placing it better on the wallet and holding it more securely, possibly even something hinged with a magnetic closure like most leather money clips.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is my second Wagner Swiss Wallet, January 24, 2012

This is the second Wagner Swiss wallet that I've owned. The first one, which was identical to this one, lasted about 6 years. I am actually surprised the first one lasted as long as it did considering the number of times I've pulled it in/out of my pocket, dropped it, banged it, etc. The durability of this wallet is much better than any other wallet that I've owned. It's simple, functional, and attracts the attention of a few curious people who are interested about the design and concept. The quality is terrific.

It holds 5 cards (including driver's license) with ease. The money clip and cardholder retain their tension, even after repeated use for several years. The aluminum is strong and resists nicks and scratches. It is more than what you would normally pay for a wallet but the old adage applies - "You get what you pay for."

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, scratches easily, January 2, 2012

Easy to use, looks slick, thin, comfortable to have in pocket, belt clip can double as money clip, holds 5 cards snugly. Only complaint is that it scratches easily by having it in the same pocket as keys, coins, or anything else metal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Metal Wallet, December 10, 2011

I have had other metal wallets for 2 yrs now & just bought this one. This wallet is pefect since I can carry a few cards & has a money clip. I found it is better to keep the money clip in (torward your rear) if you keep it in your back pocket (when sitting). I would recommend it!

3.0 out of 5 stars The Swiss Didn't Quite Earn an "A" This Time, September 26, 2011

This was a gift for someone who leads a simpler life than I. She was delighted, and carries it rather than a large shoulder bag when shopping. The reason I didn't choose one for myself is that it only holds five credit cards plus some paper money. Where we live, every store seems to offer its own card with benefits, so I have more than five cards, and would surely find myself without a card in a particular store at some time. If the Swiss expand this to hold ten cards, then I would be interested.

4.0 out of 5 stars built like a tank. light weight as a feather., May 26, 2011

I just recieved this wallet today. Its pretty beast. I tried fitting 5 cards into it and it was hard flicking the cards up. The money clip is stable. I must say it is easy to scratch it. What I really like about this wallet is its light weightness. I cant feel anything in my back pocket ! To sum it up, good for money users and few card carriers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Husband love it!, October 7, 2010

My husband loves this money clip. I bought him one about 4 years ago for Christmas. It held up for a long time before the screw fell out and he needed a new one. He didn't want any other money clip than this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Color not as pictured, February 13, 2009
The red wallet isn't what you expect as "Swiss Army Red". The quality is good but the color is a disappointment.

Wallet is pretty good. For some reason this one spear work as smoothly as the one I ha before. Nonetheless it's still a pretty good wallet to have. Much easier than a bulky leather wallet. Cards and money always stay secure.
