I greatly appreciate this product! I use it to cut my own hair, and before getting this, I was having to use a jury-rigged guide because I wanted a longer cut than my current guide selection allowed. This guide is almost perfect- and its sturdy, not as flimsy as a "longer" guide might be expected to be. My only "complaint" isn't with the product- its with the manufacturer- couldn't they make a guide that's 1-3/4", too?

Well worth the investment.

Use to pay $30+ for a short ladies' cut so this little feature added to the cost of the original clipper kit was paid for the first time I cut my hair. People can't tell it's not done professionally and I can give myself a trim anytime in seconds!

I received my #12 guide and I am very happy to say that my hair is looking well groomed again. Recommened to anyone looking for a 1 1/2 length hair cut. :-) Lookin' good! lol

and also -- it's simply an awkward length.

Size as advertised, however its so cheap and flimsy that it doesn't keep the hair length its supposed to. Any pressure on it while cutting will force and bend the plastic, and cuts a lot deeper/longer than the guide is measured to do. Complete waste of my money, threw it away after two uses (I tried to give it a second chance).

Bought this wanting a longer haircut that I can do myself, however the clipper guide is very flimsy. It gives an uneven cut and makes the hassle hardly worth it. I'm gonna buy the #10 and see if I have better luck. It may be better for people with very thick hair, but overall I am not pleased.

The clipper guide works well. It fit my clippers just a little loose, so I have to kind of guide it myself, but it works fine other than that.

Item ok, works but the prongs are not rigid and they don't maintain constant lateral spacing. Other guides I have are rigid.

I don't like my hair really short, would normally get a number 5 around the sides and trimmed up top with scissors to blend it in. Trying to save money and do my own (or have GF do) haircuts. Using the clippers and this #12 head for the top really does the trick. It is the perfect length for me just like if I went to the barber. Recommended for anyone in my situation. Be warned, the #12 head is huge! It really surprised me how big it was. It doesn't fit in my hair clippers box with everything else.

Wasn't sure if this would guide evenly. Worked great and very happy with the extended length.
