This is the first trimmer I have owned that cuts my nose hair rather than ripping it out. I have tried 2 other trimmers from other companies, and this is the first time I ever used a trimmer that didn't make my eyes water. This alone makes it a 5 in my book.

I'm an average sized guy. The trimmer has a comfortable grip and fits in my hand really well.

I don't make much use of the other attachments, but the nose hair trimmer made this product a very good deal for me.

Works ok trimming nose hair. Accessories included with trimmer would not work at all, were trash-canned. Battery case opens too easily when turned on. I likely will opt for a higher end purchase next time.

This product works ok on nose, ears and eyebrows. The attachments won't do much else very well (such as neck hair). My biggest disappointment is with the battery cover. It simply will not stay on. It would be an easy fix by the manufacturer, but this product is clearly manufactured as cheaply as possible. The trimmer feels very cheap and light which makes me question its long-term durability. Other inexpensive trimmers like this received mediocre reviews as well, so I bought this based on one review and the reputation of the Wahl name brand. It seems to work fine for limited purposes but the battery cover and cheap design keep me from giving an enthusiastic endorsement.

I originally started by buying a Wahl nose hair trimmer, but it died pretty quickly. It wasn't very powerful but it trimmed the hairs okay. The quality was sub-par, and the top would constantly pop off, so when it died I decided to try something else.

Next, I bought the Panasonic Panasonic ER421KC trimmer. The quality & power was much better than the Wahl, and the Panasonic trimmed better too. But I was pretty disappointed that it only lasted about a year and a half before it died as well.

A couple of months ago I bought the Mangroomer nose hair trimmer. The quality is similar to the Panasonic, but it doesn't cut nearly as well. If I go slow enough, it'll cut the hairs. Otherwise, the Mangroomer likes to pull hairs. I'm not too impressed by it so far (after 2-3 uses). It's not terrible, but it's bad enough that I decided to write this review for the 3 trimmers I've used.

We'll see how long the Mangroomer lasts. But based on trimming, I'd have to say the Panasonic is the best I've used so far. Obviously, I'm still pretty disappointed that it didn't last longer though. After only +/- 18 months of use (and only using it twice a month at the very most), I expected to get more out of it.

I'd like to try something else (if / when the Mangroomer dies) but I don't currently see anything else on Amazon which has received good enough reviews.

Warning. Before you purchase this product do yourself a favor and read the reviews carefully, for the Wahl 5560 as well which is similar. Save yourself the frustration i had. I purchased this product because of the Wahl name. I own their plug-in electric hair groomer and it is powerful and well made. Unfortunately, this nose trimmer is not of the same quality. It is cheaply made foreign junk with the Wahl name stamped on it. The cutter actually did a decent job, for a week or two. Then started having trouble with the little motor, wouldn't turn or cut. I took it apart and the motor looks like a cheap motor from a toy in a happy meal. Waste of money. Caveat emptor. os

Would you like a trimmer which doesn't occasionally yank a hair out? I don't know about anyone else' experience with Wahl trimmers, but mine has been excellent. Nose hair, ear hair trimmed painlessly away.
The attachments work ok, but are not the best in the world, Still, I'd rather take more time to trim my hair painlessly than to use another brand which have attachments that do it faster but cause pain.

Exactly what I was looking for. All attachements work great and cut as close as I need them to.

This thing works real well, it looks cheaply made but it is not. I haven't use all the attachment but for nose, which I use it works great and doesn't pull hair.

I bought this as a gift....what does a wife know.. it is a quality product however it was too wide for trimming his mustache easily.. so he doesn't use it for that now trims the hairline with it.

Product parts seemed to not all be there. The battery operated base only worked with one of the trimmers, the others did seem to work with that handle.
