I had bought this at Macys today and was skeptical about opening it after reading the two negative reviews. Don't listen to those reviews after opening and reading the instructional manual I realized that I actually did not need to read it. It says that the blades are oiled and positioned from the factory and that it is ready to be used.

It did what i wanted it to do perfectly which is shorten my hair, and about 20 minutes later after using it my hair was perfect to my expectations. I even used the #3 clipper to shorten my caveman beard so that when i trimmed with my Gillette it looked presentable.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an efficient set of clippers.

This is the perfect set of clippers for anyone looking to do their own hair maintenance. It comes with a large selection of trim lengths, custom trim guides, and other accoutrements. The clippers themselves do the job and are easy to maintain. Ideal set for a reasonable price.

The clipper works fine. I have no complaints. Espacially for 25 dollars it is very worth the money and you get guides and combs included. I would certainly reccomend it to anyone. I'd imagine there's a few other Wahl clipper which are of same quality. For 25 bucks you really cant beat it, I've only used it like twice so far but I'm sure it will work just as it does now for the next few years at least. It also comes with oil. legit.

Wow, hard to believe this thing was so horrible right out of the box. I followed directions to oil blades before first use. Despite that, these clippers pulled my hair after about 5 min of use--and I was going from about a 3/8" hair length to 1/4"--not a big difference. The other big negative was that the guard kept falling off. Simply unacceptable. On the positive side, the kit comes complete with lots of pieces and a nice case...too bad the product itself is so inferior! I'll be pursuing the 30-day money back guarantee.

This is not like the other Wahl products I have had. The gaurds come right off while cutting your hair. CHEAP
