I was just amazed at how quickly and how well these clippers shaved through the (very fine) hair of my Persian/Himalayan cat. I was finished grooming her before she had a chance to get upset about it! Couldn't be happier with this product!

I bought this clipper to trim my long-hair cat. This was the only clipper where a cat was mentioned in the review. It works great...my cat is now tangle free.

I used the pet clipper on my Cocker Spaniel as soon as I got it. It worked great! Love it!

I have a large cat with long, soft fur. I wanted to try clipping him at home to save money, and after trying a few different clippers, this is the one that's worked best for us. Others would bog down and make noises that scared our cat, but he seems to enjoy this. It's taken me a while to finish his cut because he has so much fur and fights having it done on his stomach. However, it's been relatively easy to get the bulk off, which is really what I was wanting.

We brought the Himalayan cat in for professional grooming periodically and the costs started to bother us. Since the cat is a pet I decided to clip the cat myself since the cost for the Wahl clippers was less than two trips to the groomer. The clipper has a reasonable humm which did NOT frighten the cat. I followed the instructions regarding oiling and tried my hand at cat clipping. I am quite happy with the results; the cat was unsettled due to my strange new actions but not angry or upset. My wife likes the results.

These clippers were so loud that I couldn't even use them once. They sound like someone turned them on and put them on the ground. Maybe I got a defective pair I am not sure but the ones I have a horrible.

DO NOT buy if you will use on a long-haired or soft-haired cat. This trimmer sucks by all accounts. It would only cut the fur on the back of my 2 cats since (almost as if it was butter, but only the first time i used it, after that it started to have trouble) the skin around the spine is more stretched than the skin on the chest and sides; just like in humans the skin on our backs is more tightly pulled than the looser skin on our chest and belly area. It would take like 2 hrs. to finish trimming each cat. Do not waste money on this junk, just invest in a more expensive model, TRUST ME it will save u from a lot of stress.

I used this product on a maltese/yorkie (5-8lbs)and it was not useful at all. I was better off using a scissor. Her hair is low and it did not pick up hair when clipping.

I purchased these clippers as a means to groom our cat, she is a Maine Coon with extremely thick hair and the summer heat is hard on her. We had taken her to the groomers in the past but we were not happy with the results. These clippers are really good quality and made short work of her hair. The only issues we ran into were the areas with any sort of tangles or matting the clippers would stall out or pull her hair. We are very happy with the purchase overall, our cat really hates to be brushed but didn't seem to mind the clippers too much.
