5.0 out of 5 stars Right on the money December 20, 2011

I thought this was going to be a colossal gadget, but it's actually not that bad, once it's on my shoe you forget it's there. The strides are pretty accurate on the treadmill, but it doesn't really work well on an elliptical. My last workout only picked up 3 strides. With all my wahoo products I'm using digifit, so I don't know if that makes a difference. It paired up with my iPhone pretty quickly and it's been rock solid ever since. Being able to connect using my phone has been very motivational to me since I'm returning to the gym after a long while, I highly recommend this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Accurate December 9, 2011

I'm a gadget person. I also enjoy tracking my walking and fitness routines. I bought the Wahoo Fitness Foot Pod to use in conjunction with the MapMyFitness program. I have the iMapMyHIKE+ installed on my iPhone so I can record not only the route I take via GPS, but also record the number of footsteps taken. This helps me maintain my pace. I highly recommend Wahoo Fitness products

5.0 out of 5 stars Wahoo is a blast! So happy with it! March 16, 2013

I used to run with Nike+ but app restrictions were so frustrating.
I do have Polar H7 to work with my iPhone 5, and unfortunately I could not find any bluetooth stride sensor.
Really dediced to give a try to Wahoo with this model, and I am so satisfied with it.
Installyng was a snap, very easy, and ... well... it works so great!

Ant+ is a great standard, but it would be great for Wahoo do deploy BT stride sensors as well - I also have a Wahoo BT Cadense/Speed for my bike and it is fantastic!

Go for this unit, but don't forget the Ant+ fitness key, otherwise it wont work
