I have wasted countless times on the couch playing this game with 3 of my friends and every time it is worth it. Dont expect this game to be easy at first, in fact, for being a relatively simple game, it is quite challenging. There are 4 different play modes, tournament, skins game, country club and practice modes that you can hone your skills on. You can have different types of weather, wind, rain, and if you find the sand or a tree, you can expect to lose at least a stroke. You can also create your own characters and choose what types of clubs are in your bag. Definitely worth it if you are looking for a golf game to play. better than mario golf anyday.

I think that this game is awesome for anybody, it is pretty hard to get use to but it is awesome when you are good at it, which will not take long. There is good competetition in the computer and it keeps a handicap for it. If you are thinking about getting it do it.

I am going to keep this short and sweet but I just want to let all of you golf fans out there who own a N64 that Waialae Golf is the game for you. Even though it is the only golf game for the 64 I think it is a very fun game and I play it all the time. Thanks for listening to me talk about this game but since the game only had one review I had to post my own opinion.

WCC is an addictive golf game. Despite having only one course to choose from, i never got tired of it. I particularly like the Waialae Open 4-day tournament, with a cut and all. On the side, the commentators provide hilarious dialogue that is fun to emulate ("putting FOR EEEEAAAGLE!!!!"). The game also features an embarrassingly outdated trait in that you can only opt to create a caucasian golfer, while one of the four caddy choices is a black man. Funny considering this game came out around Tiger Woods' breakthrough.

I'm not the type that's normally into golf or tennis games or any sports games for that matter. When my sister and I went to our local video game store to look for some games we could play against one another at and my sister picked this game, I quickly thought that this game would severely suck. Yet, I was surprised when we popped this game into the Nintendo 64 and started playing, it was a real blast to play. Sure, the game is simple enough that a child could play it and there isn't much variety in the courses you play on, yet this game is quite a challenge and extremely fun to play.
What amazes me, though, is how my sister(who's just now getting into videogames herself) is taking to this game. She's played it nonstop since we got it. She was simply overjoyed to make a 250 yard shot with only one stroke. Seeing her get into videogames just as much as me tickles me. At any rate, Waialae Country Club is a golf game that I highly recommend to even the gamer that isn't into games such as this. I'm not into them but this one has got me changing my mind. Try it, you'll like it. I guarantee it.

N64's Waialae Country Club Golf is rated "E for Everyone"(content rated by the ESRB). It does work for everyone, as a matter of, it's fun for everyone to play, for awhile. I used to play the Super Nintendo version when I was younger. This game is suprisingly similiar, which is disappointing. I expected alot more. In all fairness, my thoughts on this game are probably prepossessed due to the fact that I played the earlier version. I was already used to the single course you have to play. If you didn't play the earlier version then you'll probably like this game. And if you are looking for something easy to play, this is the game for you. If you are looking for something on the cutting edge, you probably should wait.

It's one of the only games in 64. Being a 4 player game we get to play with all our friends and they think it is great, too. The graphics are good.

Wailae golf for N64 is the only golf game on N64 and I think it is great! The graphics are ok, but once you get beyond that you will see that it is very fun. If you have friends then have them play with you because multiplaying on this game is the best! If your a golf fan, get this game or do what I will do and wait for mario golf.
