The Spit It Out version here is the demo version, with way cooler vocals and guitar chords. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for a single, May 24, 2003

This is one of the best singles that can be found.I don't usually buy singles but this has a few rarities on it.

Wait and Bleed(terry Date Mix)- The only difference from the original version is that is has more singing than screaming. Can also be found on the Digipak of their Self Titled album and also the Scream 3 soundtrack.

Spit it Out(Overcaffeinated Hyper Mix)Better than the original. A lot Faster. Can also be found on the digipak of their s/t album.

(sic)[molt injected mix]- why I bought the single. Cool heavy mix of one of slipknot's heaviest songs. Can also be found on That Nascar soundtrack.

These are all good remixes. Maybe Slipknot Should put out a full length remix album to tide us over till the new album comes out.

All three songs on this cd are great, especially Spit it Out. The money I spent on this cd was justified alone on Spit it Out, let alone the other two. The song is quicker and I think even better than the one on the Slipknot cd. So if you like Slipknot, get both. And oh yeah, if you get Welcome To Our Neighbourhood (VHS) or the Spit it Out cd, you can see the Spit it Out music video thats a parody of the movie, "The Shining". MTV banned it because of the scene where James beats Corey up with a baseball bat.

It's not easy living off the same 14 songs. Ask Slipknot. Since November '99, they have been making remixes and live versions of their prized tracks. Well, this particular remix is solely for the collector and those who want "more of the same" and fear Slipknot will change their style when the new LP is released, like the Insane Clown Posse have done.

I'm both!

4.0 out of 5 stars Can't hear myself think!, June 29, 2009
This review is from: Wait & Bleed / Spit It Out (Audio CD)
I bought this for my otherhalf as a Christmas Present. He was stoked when he opened it and 5 minutes later I have Slipknot screaming out of my stereo on Christmas Morning. Not exactly a family tradition.lol He loves it and I have now banshed the CD and the excessive noise to his car and new car stereo. At least the peace has returned to my house. :) Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Single, May 22, 2001
This review is from: Wait & Bleed / Spit It Out (Audio CD)
1.Wait and Bleed-This is the remix by Terry Date seen on MTV and also featured on the Scream 3 soundtrack. Shows off Corey's range(man he has a great voice!) but the aggression is toned down. 2.Spit It Out-A demo version of the classic song that first introduced me to Slipknot. Cool vocals, plus better guitars. Very fast paced, and the drums sound cool. 3.Sic-One of my all time fave songs on the album. This is a somewhat slower version, but it shows off the drums better. Good remix. All in all, a good single for those interested in getting to know Slipknot or for collectors(also includes live vid for Wait and Bleed).

5.0 out of 5 stars Slipknot, September 4, 2005

Hey, Slipknot rocks. This song rocks. It's just MTV ruined them with their poser crap and anything that is on MTV sucks. And that makes me sad, because Slipknot was good. Stupid MTV. They should kill whoever made MTV.

This review is from: Wait & Bleed / Spit It Out (Audio CD)
this is the best song in the world the single comes with the video build into it but that alone is not worth 15 bucks just buy the real cd it's on (iit has a better version of wait and bleed on it).
