Deluxe three disc (two CDs + DVD) edition contains two bonus tracks on the main disc (including the new single 'One Time We Lived'), a bonus CD that features an Ambient mix of the Wait For Me album plus a DVD that contains live performances, music videos and much more. 2009 release from the Electronic Music icon. Wait For Me is a radical departure from Moby's recent albums. Liberated from the pressures of trying to please himself at the same time as the music industry, in making Wait For Me, Moby decided to forego the expensive studios, state of the art equipment, big name guest artists and image consultants that have characterized some of his previous albums. This time, he made Wait For Me because he wanted to make a record that was more personal, experimental and a little more challenging. .

I must admit that I did enjoy "Wait For Me" - the original version. It is low key and beautiful. Moby is well known for his upbeat dance club songs, but it is the melancholic Moby that really is wonderful.
This album is a far departure from "Last Night". While the original "Wait For Me" is already an ambient masterpiece, Moby takes it one step further with this bonus ambient cd. A beautiful addition. Then, you also get the dvd with interviews, videos, and live performances.
I highly recommend this purchase for any fan of ambient music or Moby. Even if you already have the original cd, this is worthy.

- an ambient version of the album 'Wait for me' (very cool, in fact I personally prefer the ambient version of Hotel to the actual Hotel album)
AND
- a very very cool DVD - featuring recent live stuff (go! if you've not seen Moby live (you'll want to after seeing the DVD), clips from the Wait for me album, interviews, etc
All for a (currently at least) BARGAIN price!

If you are debating between the original version and this deluxe version, go for this one. It is well worth paying a little extra.
For me, the ambient mixes on disc 2 in many cases are superior to the original tracks. It is not up-beat, and certainly it is not something one can just dance to-- and certainly Moby has created other music for those purposes-- but this is perfect for quiet introspection. It is a darker, perhaps more soulful collection of songs, and again, I highly recommend the ambient mixes for a different take on Moby.

Who doesn't like Moby!!!
There are some of CD's that aren't stellar, But big deal. I would still by anything that had Moby's name on it.
