I must admit that I did enjoy "Wait For Me" - the original version. It is low key and beautiful. Moby is well known for his upbeat dance club songs, but it is the melancholic Moby that really is wonderful.

This album is a far departure from "Last Night". While the original "Wait For Me" is already an ambient masterpiece, Moby takes it one step further with this bonus ambient cd. A beautiful addition. Then, you also get the dvd with interviews, videos, and live performances.

I highly recommend this purchase for any fan of ambient music or Moby. Even if you already have the original cd, this is worthy.

You get:
- the usual album + 2 bonus tracks (including the cool new (rather 80s) 'One time we lived')
- an ambient version of the album 'Wait for me' (very cool, in fact I personally prefer the ambient version of Hotel to the actual Hotel album)
AND
- a very very cool DVD - featuring recent live stuff (go! if you've not seen Moby live (you'll want to after seeing the DVD), clips from the Wait for me album, interviews, etc

All for a (currently at least) BARGAIN price!

Moby describes this album as being a more beautiful, musical, personal album than some of his previous... the album you might listen to alone on a Sunday morning (as opposed to an album you might listen to with people / at a club). It is that

Introspective, somber, dreamy, and addictive.. it sweeps you away on a captivating journey. This is an album meant to be listened to all the way through. Be warned that this is not an upbeat album so set your expectations accordingly.

The Deluxe version with all the extras is well worth the extra dollar or two over the original version.

..... too bad ..... this guy .... is sort of exploring things I'm pretty sure are a PIECE OF CAKE for him ... quite don't get it ....artists today pretty know how difficult & troublesome the music industry is .... ¡ so please ! .... Mr. Moby ...your work is getting dull ..... predictable ... ¡ get to work ! ..... study David Bowie's career .... always surprising musicianshipwise ...... we miss your sound ....we miss you style ....that made u unmistakable.....good
