Wait till Helen comes is a very good book. The author Mary Downing Hahn is a very good describer and tella a lot about the kids in the book. At some points of the book the kids will get in a fight and Mary Downing Hahn has good descripion. The kids do not like when they move from Baltimore. If you read the book you will feel like you are in the book. At the end of the book it gets very exciting.

Wait till Helen Comes and Daphne's Book are the best books EVER!!!!But anyways, Wait till Helen comes was the first book I ever read by Mary Downing Hahn. It was so realistic and simple, yet spooky and well thought out. You could feel the chachter's feelings, the ghost's pain and sorrow, and her brother's disbelief so strongly, you could believe it honestly.Shelby C.

Wait till helen comes is one of my favorite stories.Mary Downing Haghn is the author of this book. She likes to use words like exsasperated an aroma. She does not make sentences like we went to the house I saw a ghost. She uses words that realy explain whats happening. She grabs you into reading the book by making you want to find out about Heather's deep dark secret. This is a book I'd recommend to someone who doesn't like reading. It's about a ghost called Helen who haunts the place these characters live in.

This review is from: Wait Till Helen Comes: A Ghost Story (Avon Camelot Books) (School & Library Binding)
"Wait Till Helen Comes" is a really good book. I like it because it is a ghost story and it ends good. There are a lot of good parts like when they are in the graveyard in the night time. At the end of the chapters the author put cliffhangers. I reccomend this book to people who like suspense and I think they should make a sequel. I really think this is the best book that I have read in my life. It is a good ghost story and they should also make a movie of it. It would be a really good idea. My mom and my grandma would probably like it too.

I thought that Wait Till Helen Comes was a good book. I liked it because it was scary and funny at the same time. The book is about a single father with one kid who is a brat, and a single mother with two nice kids. The mother and father get married and move to a church with a graveyard in the backyard. The bratty child makes a friend in the graveyard.Although shes not an ordinary friend in fact shes a ghost. The ghost is out to kill the bratty child. What should she do?
