A strong pick for fiction readers,

This review is from: Waiting for Elvis (Paperback)
Don't judge a book by its cover, a secular proverb used to describe many people. "Waiting for Elvis" is the story of Betty and Arty, a happily married couple who run a diner. Dealing with a disrespectful son, she finds a loner and drifter called Sam. Through her conversations, Betty learns that there isn't much joy to Sal's life, nor has there ever been. What little joy there was came from the King of Graceland. "Waiting for Elvis" is a moving literary story, a strong pick for fiction readers.
