An old Friend, November 21, 2000

John is an amazing music student, knew hin a few years back and am so happy to hear this stuff. It may be run of the mill in places, but look folks, this guy survived Beefheart! You should hear his jazz playing, ask him to do Rio De Janero Blue, or if you want to hear him at his best "You Are My Sunshine" this drummer can read, and will amaze you.
