Next Big Thing From Central PA,
By A Customer
This review is from: Waiting Room (Audio CD)
Technically this band is from Philly, but they relocated to the Lancaster area just before getting signed to Trustkill. The band was a frequent at The Chameleon club in Lancaster, PA - opening for the likes of Onelinedrawing, A Static Lullaby, and The Rise. The band's sound reminds you of earlier Incubus more than the hardcore scene they seem to be stuck in. Signing to Trustkill they went a little heavier (also the band's first time recording with more than 2 people might have helped) but they still don't compare hardcore wise to label mates like Poison the Well. A lot more melody and an actual singing vocalist make this a great new band to check out. One of the few non-hardcore bands who can go on Warped Tour or Ozzfest.

Armsbendback "Waiting Room",

This review is from: Waiting Room (Audio CD)
I heard good things about Armsbendback's album, "Waiting Room," but i wasn't particularly impressed. The singer (or whoever it is that screams) screaming voice isn't great, and the songs themselves are nothing to rave about. The music and lyrics aren't bad, they just don't seem too original. This is not a horrible cd, however, and is worth checking out if you're into the new screamo style. It's not exactly hardcore, but not too soft. Rating: Three stars.

wow,

I managed to download some of their older stuff off mp3.com which was awesome for a new band, and a couple of members. This album cuts it though, the vocals are top notch, and the band complements them. They are a kick ass band that should get a lot of recognition, because of their versatility. "Primeira" is almost a disturbing love song, but the vocals are amazing and so diverse for just one song. Where as terms and conditions is a rock it out hardcore number, watermark is almost post-punk/live type rock, and breaks into a double kicked harcore bridge which is sick! if this were out of 10 id go 9. get it, they deserve money and recognition for this effort
