It's so nice to here music put together in such an interesting and original way. I love putting this CD on when all I want to do is pop a cork, listen and enjoy. Great for romance!

Dave is a wonderful musician, and perfomer. This album is very relaxing, and nostolgic. If you like this album, do check out his new jazzy album (The Reason Why).

The flute playing on the CD is melodic and soulful. I have been a fan of Marc Berner since we met many years ago.

This CD is a breath of fresh air from the florida keys it is a welcome change from the jimmy buffet wannabe's and pseudo reggae releases so prevalent from this part of the country. Dave is a very spiritual player. PS it is a great CD to make love to :)

I met and befriended Dave some months ago down in The Keys where he lives and works, while I was working with his record label producer. In a picturesque setting of ocean winds, perfect sunsets and incredibly laid-back residents (I don't think it's changed much down there since Hemmingway's time), I felt more than a little out of place in my cosmopolitan suits and high-heels. But, there was Dave, ready with a smile and a friendly embrace for everyone; his special charm making it impossible to feel anything other than totally welcome. He's one of the few artists whose great talents are as abundant as his winning personality. His music is honest and at the same time possessed with a sanguine imaginative quality that makes it hard not to envision that "sal-agua azul" even if you've never seen it before. It flirts with latin passion in the flamenco notes, and yet is in no hurry to rush you to dancing if you'd rather just relax and feel the ambiance. It is the kind of music that everyone can find beautiful, in the way that everyone who visits The Keys is vulnerable to its beauty. It was a rare gift I had to hear Dave play for me - though his modesty would make him smile in some embarrassment that I'd make such a fuss for him here - so if you make it "down island", be sure to ask around for his performing venues as you can rest assured he plays well enough live to make recordings in one take. But, if you don't have the good fortune of being able to visit the Keys, this album can bring you a little closer.

Foder and vapid "Bones Lulaby" was the most boring and vapid selection followed by the psuedo latin "Salagua" that sounds like Led Zeppelin meets Charo
