The best work about witches I have ever read!,
This review is from: Waiting For The Wolf Moon (Silhouette Shadows) (Paperback)
Yvonne Jocks (aka Evelyn Vaughn) blends real magick with a great fantasy in the Circle series. I was also sad to see the Shadows series end, it had such potential for authors like her, and great stories like this. Anyone who wants to get an idea what real witches are like should try to track down all 4 books in the Circle series. Any reader who is simply a great fan of romance, horror, or fantasy cannot do without this series either. This was my intro to the world of Yvonne Jocks writing, and I've been hooked ever since. As always, a great job done.

Is a werewolf stalking Louisiana? Not your average romance....,
By
This review is from: Dreamscapes: Waiting for the Wolf Moon (Paperback)
Under a raging moon.....Nobody had to tell Sylvie Peabody some things were beyond understanding. After all, she was really a witch - a witch of uncommon power. But even she was powerless to explain the nightmare that gripped the town of Stagwater whenever the full moon approached. Was it really possible that a werewolf was stalking the Louisiana night? And was it coincidence the horror had begun when the mysterious Rand Garner bought that old estate on the edge of town? Sylvie knew she must not fall prey to his lethal charm and animal grace. Yet some force beyond her control meant that nothing could keep her from him -- not even her rising terror.....This book is part of a four part series about The Circle - four friends with magical gifts, each finding love to last an eternity.

Re-read a thousand times,

I found this book years ago in a Kroger book section. And since that time, I've re-read it a thousand times. There is nothing more wonderful than the play between Rand and Sylvie. Rand is the hero I believe most women would love to find, whether physically, or someone as fun to be around. The Wiccan elements are wonderful. Having been in the Craft for over 20 years, I can give the author a great thumbs up for telling the truth about witches. As for the Deloup House, I wish often there was such an attraction in Lousiana - and that when I visited it, Rand would be there. A must for all of you wanting humor, horror, a strong female lead, and a beautiful hero - read Waiting for the Wolf Moon!!

Is this a reprint of the Silhouette Shadow series?,

Miss Vaughn is a terrific writer. My question here is if these books in the Dreamscape series are not the same books that were released earlier under the Shadow imprint.
