I agree with the first review. It's a nice short story about these women who have been with the same man on their vacation. I really liked the twist at the end. If one doesn't have much time to read and would like a nice short story that keeps your interest and can be read in 30 minutes, this would be the book.

This is a lovely short story that reflects on the memory and impact of a vacation romance in the life of young women. There is NO erotica.

Interesting concept, but tedious and not a page turner,

I wanted to try the free e-book to see if I like the author's writing--and would gladly buy her books if I had. First of all, I find the title and eye-catching cover misleading. It looks a bit like an erotic, vampiresque secret meeting, but in fact, it's nothing of the sort. No seductive women and no graphic/erotic writing, which I don't like to read.In fact, the women in the story are mostly married--one with a small child in tow--and meet in a public area. They are all there to meet this one man from their past. And an interesting meeting it should be with his past women in the same place! I love the premise, but I found the dialogue tedious and not that interesting: 1. Where's the real conflict? 2. Why are all these women so drawn to meet a man from years ago? 3. What was he like to keep them mentally on the string all these years? The ladies don't talk about their experiences with "him." It would have been more interesting to know the protagonist's real identity earlier and create a dialogue that makes the other women suspicious or jealous (as they would be in real life). At the end, the story shifts abruptly to reveal the "surprise" ending, which by then wasn't a total surprise. Overall a bit disappointing. I liked the idea of a short story you can read in 30+ minutes that's engaging and thought-provoking, but I didn't find it here.

eros,

I agree with the other two reviews. It was a cute short, clean story. I only wish it was a little longer. I didn't get to finish my exercise bike workout. It took less than 30 minutes to read. I rated it 4 stars because I guessed the twist at the end of the story. But if you want a quick, very quick read, read this sample.

I normally don't write reviews, but it personally ticks me off that this story is rated 3+ stars, which is the only reason I downloaded it. This is a complete and utter waste of time and energy. The "short story" reads like a back jacket synopsis to a promising book. That's it. There is completely no insight to anything. There is no past, a lunch time banter for the present and no future. The characters have no real identities. I don't know how this even takes 30 minutes to read. The story itself takes place in about a 30 minute time frame. It's useless. It's great that there is a plethora of free books available, but that doesn't mean I ought to be grateful for ANYTHING that is free.

Good thing that this is a free story. I read it a few years ago and it is not worth the time.

As the title implies, you will be waiting. The author introduces you to four women (maybe it was five - it's really not that memorable)After the introductions, you will wait. And wait. The best part is that you really aren't waiting that long because the story only takes about 15 minutes to read. When you are finally finished waiting you get an unexpected ending. I liked the ending. The ending was the best part. The rest was just ok.

Boring Short Story,

I downloaded this short story because it was free. I did not find it entertaining. Three woman go to meet the same man on Valentine's Day. He does not show. They go to lunch and talk about the man they have all had. The little twist at the end that people mention was not exciting to me. It was predictable. I will not be buying anything from this author. I would not recommend this story to a friend. It is boring.

I got this text free, so that is basically why I read it. It is not a book, it is a short story about three or four women who are waiting to see a lover from their past, which turns out to be the same man who made a date with all of them for the same day. The women get to talk about their lives and begin reminiscing their past. The end is interesting, since you don't expect it.

This was not very good. If you are looking for erotica this isn't it. Story is very short and not very fulfilling.I wouldn't recommend this.
