As an educator I use a variety of music to diversify lessons plans in a variety of areas of study. This song was complimentary in our unit on the environment.

"Wake up America" is Miley Cyrus' environmental awareness anthem for the tween and teen crowd. There's even a backup chorus of Jonas Brothers to set fangirls' hearts racing. The Jonas Brothers might sing "Burnin' up",but Miley Cyrus cares about the atmosphere. She really does.

"Wake up America" opens with Miley singing in the pseudo-country twang, sounding oh-so-serious about how global warming troubles her. She may be "lecturing from the backseat",she may be young, but she really cares. She really does. Miley exhorts young people with every little thing they can do,they'll save the planet. She doesn't give specifics. She sings about how America "needs attention/give her a little attention" making her sound like a petulant teenager. Because Miley Cyrus cares. She really does.

I wish ms Cyrus the best, as artist and as human being.
I also wish that she would become aware of the propaganda of the New World Order.
Global warming and the carbon tax is another way to enslave humanity under the control of the global elite bankers.
This song is just another naive attempt to follow like sheeples the mantra of the new world order propaganda. Please Ms. Cyrus "Wake Up" and smell the fascism... and use your talent to expose the New World order.
