Kalan Porter's sophomore cd was well worth the wait. This cd shows how Kalan has matured since his last cd "219 Days". Kalan co-wrote 7 of the 11 songs on the album. Drawing his inspiration from his mother's battle with breast cancer, Kalan lyrics are not the fluff you hear from other pop stars.
I love every track on this album! It's hard to pick a favorite because I have fallen in love with them all. I must say that Out of My Head which was written a couple of weeks after Kalan found out his mother was diagnosed with cancer really touches my heart. With this cd, Kalan proves that he not only has a magnificent voice but he is also an accomplished songwriter and musician (Kalan played violin and did all the violin arrangements on the cd). If you haven't purchased this cd yet, I highly recommend that you do so. You will not regret it. Kudo's, Kalan Porter!!

Kalan Porter won an early season of Canadian Idol. He's got two albums out, although one is only available in the US as an import. He's got a great voice, great song choice / songwriting ability, and deserves a bigger audience.
