Loved it. This disc is ride, for sure. While I do think an album like "Wake Up" is best listened to straight through from start to finish (road-trip style), the tracks stand on their own with remarkable emotional impact.

I typically find "Electronica" to be weird just for the sake of being weird, but I connected with these songs. To my ears they sound intentional and specific, like each part of each song is there on purpose. The layers of sound and tonality are great, and it's mainly that element of being able to "de-cipher" the songs that has made this disc such an enjoyable listen for me. I liken this to classical music in that I don't listen to it all the time, but I definitely want some in my collection for when I'm in the mood for it. Like a previous reviewer said, excellent music to listen to while working.

I'm usually a skeptic, especially with instrumental music, but this album is great - Give it a listen!

"Wake Up" is a cd with a sound and style that you don't often get to enjoy. It is mostly mellow and smooth but also interesting and technical. I usually listen to the cd when I'm working or when I get home from a long day at work and just want to relax. I would absolutely recommend picking up a copy of this cd for yourself. There are many times during the day when you want a break from the pop music and just want to enjoy some great instrumental tunes. This cd delivers exactly that.

"Wake Up" is one of those albums that I can play over and over and not get tired of. I have had this album for about a month now and it is still in regular rotation for me, especially while I work.

"Wake Up" has a similar sound to other artists in this genre such as "This will destroy you" "Album Leaf" and "Sigur Ros". Though similar to these other great artists "Wake Up" has a very distinct sound and it is one that I happen to thoroughly enjoy. I would highly recommend this album.
