This rack is a perfect fit for small bikes. No instructions included owner should add their own washers.

This is a great basket. It it very sturdy, and both large and durable enough to carry heavy loads. It has an exceptional level of finish and craftsmanship. The finish is very bright and clean. Wald, the manufacturer, has a long history of making bicycle products and I am pleased to own this one. I own other baskets made by them, some getting quite old, and they are all reliable. Perhaps the nicest thing about this basket is its size. It is not as tall as many common "grocery" type baskets. When installed you will see the headbadge area still looks graceful and neat. I like that!
One wrinkle: the metal straps which hold the basket on the handlebars are quite long. If your steering stem is up as high as it can go, it may not be an issue. For me they work, but some riders will probably have to do some tinkering to get this basket to fit. On a Schwinn 17" or 19" frame with the steering stem set low, the bottom of the basket will hit the front tire. If you like your handlebars closer to the frame, the basket will have to stick out, out, out away from the headbadge to clear the tire. Personally, I like the basket straps hanging down, almost vertically, so the cargo's weight is closer to the bike's center of gravity. Also, the rods which support the basket come with two holes on the axle side. Not a lot options for basket height. If you don't mind drilling the holes in the position you need, you'll be fine.

It's very large and it has a great classic design. The only thing about it that I didn't like is that it didn't come with nuts & bolts to attach it to the handlebars or to the axle, so we had to go find our own from a hardware store. Gave it 4 stars regardless.

Great basket, and very easy to install. It looks nice and has a good capacity. Also there is lots of room for adjustment of the basket angle, which was nice because I didn't think it was going to be horizontal at first.

Looks good. Installs easily. Fits very well. Good size for a few small items...lock, helmet, lunch bags, etc.

Sturdy strong basket. Small though. Only fit like 10-15 pound dog. Nice basket though. Would buy again! Place I bought it from is lIke three hours from my house and it took 3 days to get to me lol.

I bought the basket to go on the front fork of my wife's 26" Pacific Shore bike also purchased from Amazon. Assembly was a snap just a wrench and a Phillips head driver. The best feature is that the construction of the basket allows for a good deal of flexibility when adjusting the handlebars for the rider. The construction is good and the versatility is great. The basket is just the right size to hold a purse, a jacket, and a bag for groceries.

I bought this basket to go on my '79 Schwinn Hollywood after scouring the internet for just the right basket. I wanted something not-too-big, and something that would let the Schwinn head badge shine through! I had reservations about this basket being too big, but I took a chance on it because it looked so much different than all the other baskets I've seen. When the basket came, it was the perfect size!

This bike is adjustable so the basket can be right out in front the handlebars (which is how I like it) or closer to the frame by adjusting the top arms. I'm not the best with tools, so I needed a little boyfriend assistance to put the basket on and adjust it just right. It looks like a dream! I took a long ride and the basket stayed perfectly in place. Even included were rubber pieces to put between the basket and the handlebars so there would be no scratches. I did not have the issues other reviewers had (missing pieces, instructions, or arms). I got everything I needed when I ordered from Amazon.

Wald is the only brand I would consider putting on my American beauty. They were the brand Schwinn used back then, and for good reason! I know this basket will last as long as my Chicago Schwinn...forever!! The ONLY complaint I would have about this basket is the extra small hole on the bottom of the leg that will stick out if you do not have a flip-flop hub (that's what the directions said it was for anyway). Not the most aesthetically pleasing thing, but I love the rest of the basket so much that I'm willing to look past it to give this basket 5 stars!!!

Great basket - had to bend the legs a little bit to get it to fit my beach cruiser but so far this basket has cut the mustard and holds my fat little puppy! (Toy Breed weighs just under 15 lbs.)

I wanted a pretty simple basket for my bike. Just needed to be big enough to carry a few items. It was cheap and I liked the look of the dropped top. I put it on my bike, it was pretty simple to install, few screws here and there, hardest part was attaching it to the front wheel. So far it's worked out pretty well. I had one of the bottom screws come loose and fall off while I was riding, but it was easily replaced with another screw and nut.
