Vintage Schwinn and Murray replacement seatpost
If you're looking for a seatpost for a modern bike, or even for older BMX, this is not your seatpost. If you're looking for a seatpost to replace the the one that came on your Vintage, late 40's, 50's, 60's and even some early 70's, Schwinn, Murray, and Huffy, you've found your post. This post is 13/16 to fit old school bikes.

little misleading
The top part is 13/16" but after the bulge for the saddle its 7/8". I had to make a shim out of a pop can to fit it into the bike frame.

This replaced the rusty seatpost in my daughter's 1969 Schwinn Stingray which I am rebuilding for her. It was perfect--post diameter, seat clamp diameter, and length. It looks good too. And it is inexpensive.
