To read this book while visiting Walden Pond was wonderful. It made the visit a much more meaningful experience. While touring the homes of Emerson and other authors, and also the authors ridge at Sleepy Hollow was like going on a pilgrimmage. This book allowed me to understand the history even more.

I love reading and re-reading Walden. This edition makes it particularly practical as it is very handy and would fit into any of my purses/bags. The perfect edition of Walden for hard core fans.
