This is an excellent album to listen to--whether you are driving home from work or to work or simply at home. Their song "Surrender" is my favorite on this CD. This would be a great gift for anyone. God Bless.

4-Him's music has been very instrumental to me in encouraging me to go serve in the mission field. Now, as I care for a young autistic boy, their music still encourages my soul and encourage me to Walk On! I always loved their music and finally got a chance to purchase this CD. It is awesome and another winner. The song Surrender is my favorite! Buy this! You will definitely not be disappointed with Walk On OR any of the 4-Him CD's. I look forward to future projects!

I am very familiar with 4Him's music and style and like all their offerings to date, with OBVIOUS and FACE THE NATION ranking at the top of my personal list. I knew WALK ON would be good but expected it to be very like their "old" stuff. I was wrong--they've got a great new sound with a lot of ear interest. It's a new direction for them, and just when I thought I knew what to expect I've gotten a terrific surprise. It will be interesting to see what they do with their NEXT CD. They are not just resting on their laurels doing the same old same old.

4HIM has long been a favorite of mine. The Message and Obvious are two of my most favorite albums. However, when they released their Hymns album, I thought that maybe 4HIM finally needed to call it quits. That album was a huge disappointment to me, and I wasn't sure 4HIM was still for me. My attitude changed, however, when I recieved Walk On. 4HIM may have gone through a dry spell, but they are back and better than ever with their new album and new record label (Word Records). The new album opens with the current radio single, "Psalm 112". This is a great up-tempo song with lyrics almost directly from the psalm itself. The song then moves on into great worship tunes like "Surrender" and "Walk On". 4HIM flirts with some ROCK in tunes like "This is My Declaration", "I Know You Now" and "One Foot in the Water". Some might not be able to swallow the fact that 4HIM is using more melodic rock in their music, but it works great. "Let the Healing Begin" and "The Waiting" are also great worship tunes. My favorite from the album has to be "I Know You Now". The guys sound the best they ever have vocally, and lyrically the album couldn't have been better. It sounds to me like 4HIM is on their second wind, a wind that indeed is very refreshing.

I've been impressed with 4Him since I first got plugged in to their music in '98. Of course, they had been around longer than I was a listener, so it was a wonderful treat hearing each song that I hadn't had the pleasure of listening to yet! This album is no exception, and in fact I have yet to not be blown away by the worshipful, doctrinally sound lyrics and excellence in their performance. I will be listening to them for many years to come.

I can not believe how wonderfully 4-Him touches my soul. I am blessed, having felt called to the mission field since I was a young teenager. The song "Surrender" was the conferming touch in my life. When God calls, I will follow. Thank you 4-Him!! May God bless you in all your endevors! Praise God for you!

4HIM doesn't falter in their latest release. Yes, their last release "Hymns" deviated from the 4HIM formula but "Walk On finds us on familiar turf once again. (Incidentally, unlike another reviewer, I also liked the "Hymns" CD...)I am a longtime 4HIM fan and am amazed and am thankful that through the years they have stayed together as a group and have continued to mature and grow as musicians. Bravo, Andy, Marty, Mark and Kirk. "Walk On" is a job well done. May you have many more years together.

Okay...I never really take the time to write album reviews, but
this is one that I cannot pass up. I have been a 4HIM fan since
1996 and never miss adding their latest project to my collection.
"Walk On" is an ABSOLUTE MUST BUY! From the opener "Psalm 112"
to the final cut, "Love Boomerang", I find no flaws! Personal
favorites include, "Let The Healing Begin", the title cut "Walk
On", and "The Waiting"--listen closely to the lyrics in this one.
It can really give you a "faith" boost in a trying situation.
Andy, Mark, Kirk, and Marty have never sounded better! Awesome
vocals, hot tracks, and great song material! Get this CD, put it
in the player, and make sure the "repeat" button is selected.

It's evident these guys are Believers, because in order to consistently make wonderful music, God has to be working through them. They amaze me every time out!

This album has all kinds of good stuff: particular favorites are "Psalm 112," "City of Refuge," "The Waiting," and I'm hooked on "One Foot in the Water," and "Love Boomerang"--that is a FUN song! There's a really encouraging, yet 'people-get-with-the-program!' feel to this one. Mark Harris, lyricist par-excellence, has proven again, God still has something He wants to say through him.

It's always a blessing to listen to a 4HIM CD--even if you hear it 100+ times, it doesn't get old. Their music is timeless and refreshing from the first time to the thousandth hearing. Like I said, they're incredible!

I acquired an old 4Him CD a year ago. Since then they have grown on me. This is a fine CD with great tunes on it. Psalms 112 really stands out. I highly recommend any 4Him fan get this CD.
