5.0 out of 5 stars What can one say about Bill Bryson, March 4, 2009

Actually, Bill Bryson has a fault; he doesn't write enough. Reading his works lightens ones life. He manages to critique life's little foibles (and some larger ones, too) and in so doing, brings tears of laughter and gut-wrenching belly laughs all the while educating us in geography. He is a gem of the first quality.

These are narratives for nature lovers and stay-at-home readers alike. They are about all about friendship.
Definitely happy trails! One is Appalacia, one is the Land Down Under, but they are well-paired together!
