Beautifully inspired and touching. Your classic romantic story of Love. Life is predicable in its own self and we all hope for an "Ever After," one that we have fought for and cried over. Stories allow us to look into the minds of the writer and see the lessons that they want to share. I have always and I believe will forevermore be drawn to endings, those ones which end with something profoundly said or done that just leaves you not with an emptiness, but an understanding. This book does it for me as so many others have. In book form or in film it is wonderful and I would recommend reading it when you find the time because it really does not matter whether or not you like it because it will leave an impression, everything does!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Ability To Walk In The Clouds, September 20, 2009

This novel brought out the sheer evidence that fate can rule one's life. The way the book is written leaves no room for denying the presence of tha unforeseen factors that change our lives. The story moves with great care, keeping the story believable and soul moving. The characters are pure realistic and are portrayed as a normal man and woman, who fall in love by sheer fate. The difference in lifestyles makes this story exceptionally powerful from first page to last. A real true adventure for a lover of a good clean and wholesome story.

I loved this book! I unfortunately saw the movie before reading this book because it did ruin it a little bit for me but still the book is VERY good. I very much enjoyed it!

2.0 out of 5 stars A Walk In The Dump, October 30, 2002

This book was soooooo Boring. I read it for a book report
and would have rather read something else. The story line is hard to follow. Its was way to mushy. Its also very easy to read though, its not a difficult book, a third grader could even understand what's goin on! I would not recomend this book to anyone. -Amberly-

1.0 out of 5 stars gimme a break, December 9, 2001
This review is from: A Walk in the Clouds (Paperback)
I can't believe this book has 5 stars. I myself am a total romantic, but this book didn't do anything for me. It is ridiculously easy to read, has a very simple plot-line, and has no excitement. Every climactic part lasts about a page, and the entire book is predictable. It was also written at such an easy level, I actually felt dumb as I was reading it.
