Very nice book! I got it for my niece, she loves Sesame Street and I can't wait to give this book to her. She is only two, so will have to read it with an adult so she doesn't rip the pop-ups, but I enjoyed it very much myself and I'm way older than two! LOL! The pop-ups are big and fun and I loved the Abby Cadabby page. Also Ernie, Cookie and the rest of the gang. Well worth the Amazon price.

I got this book for my 13 month old grandson and I would say that it is his favorite. He mostly cannot manage any of the tabs that make the characters 'move' in this book but he loves the fun anyway. The first 2 pages have a large Elmo that can be moved via a tab, there is an Oscar the grouch in his trash can that can be moved by opening and closing the book a bit, and an apple with a worm that comes out of the apple which my grandson now looks for with excited anticipation. There is a scene devoted to a flying Abby (managed via a sliver of a turn wheel at the bottom of that page) with a pop out Zoe dancing nearby. A fun Bert and Ernie with Elmo musical scene moves via a simple tab and there is a matching socks game in the upper right corner that my grandson enjoys though I haven't even tried to see if he can be taught to learn which matching socks hide behind which tab. The large Big Bird character spanning two of the pages is fun and there is a matching book on the right side for the children to open and look within that is interesting. Super Grover is also given 2 pages which teach up and down concepts, and a big and little concept as well. The last page has all the characters of this particular book which also include the Count and Cookie Monster. Very enjoyable and I do read this book to the baby before nap time and he seems to settle down after we read it. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful book. It truly does live up to expectations. We laughed at the wiggling Elmo and smiled and remembered at how fun Bert and Ernie are and Big Bird has an impressive paper design, though I personally love the end pages, it was a little treat to see all the gang together - it's not everyone, but the principle Muppet cast are present and that is enough to spark stories and games with the kids. I have to say, the book is a treasure and a lovely resource to use with the children. Long live Sesame Street!

Needs more pop ups,

My 2 yr old saw it and paged through it with me but it seems to me he would've liked more pop ups on it. I didn't realize when I bought it that it would be more geared towards an adult to read in (in which case we wouldn't need the pop ups) so the book doesn't make much sense to me. If there's pop ups then why not make it towards a toddler's age? The pictures are nice though!

My daughter who is 19 months just start really getting into it. She will sit in her chair and spend a half hour turning the pages reading by herself. She is pretty delicate - a rougher kid might rip out the pop-outs. When I read with her, I help her use the fun tools on the page that make the characters move. The characters are large and colorful and we both enjoy reading it over and over.

I ordered this book for my nephew. I have always been a Sesame Street fan. My oldest child loves Sesame Street as well, but my nephew loves it. This book's pages are beautifully done. The quality is great. A must for a Sesame Street fan.

T he book itself was great, however,it didn't hold up very well!! The very first time I opened the book, the binding on the back ripped!!It was too close to Christmas to send it back. For the money,I thought it should have been a little sturdier!!

This book was such a joy to receive in the mail from Amazon! We ordered if for my nephew for Christmas and my husband and I didn't wrap it until the last minute because we wanted to keep playing with it in our home for as long as possible. This is for anyone who has EVER loved Sesame Street. It is bright, colorful and exciting, with fun little surprises everytime you turn the page. Worth every penny!

This is an excellent book for infants and children. This was a gift for my great grand child and he loved it! He is only 18 months old but he recognized the characters of Sesame Street that he watches on TV. It is wonderful for children to become interested in books.
