I purchased the WalkFits several months ago and I am glad that I gave them a try. They have helped with lower back pain. When out shopping or walking for a long period of time, my lower back would hurt to the point that I just wanted to sit down and rest for awhile. I am not overweight and I consider myself active. When using the WalkFits, I am able to shop and walk for a long period of time with no lower back pain. They do take so time to get use to and to break them in. As another reviewer mentioned, you do need to remove the inner sole lining in the shoes you want to place the WalkFits in, otherwise your shoes end up being too tight and the WalkFits don't fit properly. I'm am not one for spending a lot of money on arch supports but I do think these are worth it.

I like Walk-Fit and have been wearing them for about a month. I was diagnosed with Adult onset Scoliosis, my insoles have also dropped and my feet began to flop. These inserts helped me to lift my torso, squaring my shoulders, as well as support the arches of my feet with no pain or effort. I wear them all the time now and if I don't my arches ache, the good news is that my posture is better, my lower back doesn't hurt, and I am walking straighter. You must take out any other insert in your shoe including the manufactures insert when using these otherwise they will just hurt you. If not fitted properly, they will hurt you; make sure your shoe size is correct. For me these inserts have been worth it.

Ordered WalkFit inserts for myself and my fiancee. Followed their instructions for about 10 days (3 days past their "break in" period). I couldn't wait to get them out of my shoes by the end of the day. Foot adjusted somewhat, but not that much. Same with my fiancee. Decided to return them.

Sent them back via UPS with deliver confirmation and signature. Walk Fit received them back in mid-September, 2005. No refund given as of yet. No returned emails or phone calls to customer service.

Bottom line: WalkFit doesn't live up to ANY of their statements, including their refund policy.

I should have known better at the time to buy something off of the TV, but I learned my lesson again.

I have flat feet, and used to have excruciating foot pain every day, as well as knee pain. My ankles would feel sprained some days, and I had shooting pain in my feet. Sometimes my knee would just give out when I'd be walking. After seeing an infomercial for the original Phase 4 orthotics, I decided to give them a try. The break-in period was pretty brutal, but when my feet got used to them, my foot AND knee pain went away completely. My knees no longer go out on me, and my foot and ankle pain are gone as well. I don't think these are probably for everyone, since we all have different issues with our feet, but they have been a "miracle drug" for me!

After a painful break-in period of a few days, and a few more days with a little discomfort, these have been in my shoes for the last 2 years. They prevent me from getting foot and ankle pain when I am on my feet all day. The only bad thing is that I now really notice if I don't use them.

I have been using these orthotics for many years and the Phase IV prior to that. I liked the Phase IV (dark blue insert rather than the new silver color) better because the solid heel cup provides better stability, which is key for people with flat feet who pronate when they walk. The product itself works great, but you must take the sock liner out of your shoes prior to using them. Having said that, the company that makes these things has non-existent customer service and they rip you off for shipping and handling. Too bad such a good product is made by a company with such questionable ethics. Buy from Amazon and you will get them with reasonable shipping charges and faster delivery time. I have spent countless hours educating myself on the problems created by flat feet, and well over $1000 testing various orthotic devices. I believe this product provides the best relief for the money.

I bought these orthodtics at least 5 years ago, or more. They really work if you suffer from back problems or have "flat feet." Now it seems like they discontinued them and walk fit is the replacement but I don't know if they are as good. There is an adjustment period and your feet will hurt if you try to push it and wear them for too long in the beginning. Just be patient and you will see in a few weeks that you wear them whenever you have shoes on and your back pain is a lot better.

I bought Phase 4 Orthotics at a trade show years ago. They said there was a break in period and I didn't wait to adjust to them. They sat in my closet for years. Now, I'm a bartender and on my feet around 12 hours a day. My legs have been killing me along with my feet and back. I decided to give the inserts a try again and this time I made it through the break in period. I'm so glad I held on to these because all the pain in my legs and back are gone and only minor discomfort in my feet from standing all day. I see they're called walk fit now. I might just buy another set.
