The editorial review is spot on. This is a delightful release. 83 year old Cannon, his one time rival Will Shade on jug and Milton Roby on washboard perform a series of traditional songs plus Cannon's great hit "Walk Right In" with great verve and charm.It is a tragedy that Stax only recorded 31 minutes of material, but it is all here. Strongly recommended for all those interested in blues and folk in America.
