5.0 out of 5 stars The #1 Most Amazing Underdog Band!, July 19, 2008

I can't believe I am the first to review this album. It's a sad fact considering this is the best pop/rock/alternative album of the year in my opinion! The music arrangements are hard-hitting and effective, while the singer's vocal prowess is unquestionable. The boy has pipes! If you like bands like "Panic at the Disco" you will most certainly love The White Tie Affair.

4.0 out of 5 stars Q: What do you get when you cross Justin Timberlake with Panic! at the Disco?, October 7, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

A: You get The White Tie Affair.
The pop/post-punk blend is a good mix. The pop influence on a lot of the tracks make you want to dance, like "Allow Me to Introduce Myself...". It maintains its punk influence in the heavy guitars and drum beats in the choruses. If you liked early Panic! at the Disco, this is an album definitely worth getting. It's a steal at the $4.99 it's priced at now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just WOW, August 20, 2009
This review is from: Walk This Way (Audio CD)
I listened to the song previews on amazon and I was instantly hooked! All of the tracks are amazing! They each have their own unique melodies and none ever sound repetitive. This is one of the few albums I can listen to track-by-track without skipping any songs. If I had to pick my favorites songs -even though all are great- they'd be:

"Allow Me To Introduce Myself...Mr. Right" -I just feel like I'm at some modern masquerade ball. :P
"Candle (Sick and Tired)" -I feel like this is their trademark song. It incorporates great rhythm and lyrics.
"Watching You" -Probably my favorite track.
"The Way Down" -Just love his voice on this one. It's one of their slower songs and it's just such a great ending track.

In conclusion, buy this album! I recommend it to anyone who wants to listen to refreshing, original and extremely catchy music.
Can't wait for more to come. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars A superb mixture of music!!!, August 8, 2009
This review is from: Walk This Way (Audio CD)
We just got back from seeing these talented artists play at the Vans Warped Tour--they put on a fantastic show--on our over one hour ride home we listened to this album and were blown away! Excellently mixed, great song variety and tightly performed, the White Tie Affair offers great music for teens (child I took) to over 40 (me). Discover this hidden treasure, buy the CD or download these awesome ten tracks!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fresh and Upbeat, June 10, 2009
This review is from: Walk This Way (MP3 Download)
This album sure is a breath of fresh air. I was complaining to some friends awhile ago that there has been next to nothing in terms of good music in 2009. Now I know this came out in 2008, but I didn't hear of this album until 2009... so thank you White Tie Affair for ending this drought.

The White Tie Affair is not a really well-known band right now, but time and touring should change that. I love this CD. It is bright, upbeat music, sprinkled with electronica. Many of the tracks remind me of Justin Timberlake or Blake Lewis, but pushed more toward rock territory. Not hard rock, but tight, fast rock, like, say, Blink 182, Foo Fighters or Maroon 5. Their song "Candle (Sick & Tired)" is catchy enough to be a big radio hit. I don't think it is yet, but it should be. The video for "Candle" shows that the center of the band's energy is the very cool lead singer, Chris Wallace, and the CD proves it. His voice is the magnet in the band for me. It is high-pitched, which I like. (If you don't like that, you may not like the album.) He also co-wrote every song, with different partners. I expect TWTA to be successful. They will heighten your adrenalin with this CD, and they seem to have the talent to grow when it is time to do so.

5.0 out of 5 stars Catchy, catchy, catchy!, May 18, 2009
This review is from: Walk This Way (Audio CD)
I bought this CD a few months ago and have listened to it non-stop, every day since! The lyrics are genius, followed by quirky, fun, music and guitar riffs that go on for days! Plus, something you can really rock out to! I just saw them in concert with Lady Gaga and they put on one hell of a show live too. BEST CD I'VE BOUGHT IN A LONG TIME!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very enjoyable, April 10, 2009
This review is from: Walk This Way (Audio CD)
Light but fun songs that do not take more than one listen to like. Way better than FOB's latest CD, and on par with PATD's Pretty Odd. I'm sure by touring with the Gaga, they'll gain a larger audience and better following.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loves it, March 18, 2009
This review is from: Walk This Way (MP3 Download)
I have seen them perform quite a few times and this band puts on an awesome performance. They are nice and chatty with the fans too. I wish all bands could sound as good as these guys do! the TWTA and Lady GaGa tour was alot of fun!

PS... watch for them in the upcoming episode of MTV's "the hills" again....
