I can't believe I am the first to review this album. It's a sad fact considering this is the best pop/rock/alternative album of the year in my opinion! The music arrangements are hard-hitting and effective, while the singer's vocal prowess is unquestionable. The boy has pipes! If you like bands like "Panic at the Disco" you will most certainly love The White Tie Affair.

I listened to the song previews on amazon and I was instantly hooked! All of the tracks are amazing! They each have their own unique melodies and none ever sound repetitive. This is one of the few albums I can listen to track-by-track without skipping any songs. If I had to pick my favorites songs -even though all are great- they'd be:

"Allow Me To Introduce Myself...Mr. Right" -I just feel like I'm at some modern masquerade ball. :P
"Candle (Sick and Tired)" -I feel like this is their trademark song. It incorporates great rhythm and lyrics.
"Watching You" -Probably my favorite track.
"The Way Down" -Just love his voice on this one. It's one of their slower songs and it's just such a great ending track.

In conclusion, buy this album! I recommend it to anyone who wants to listen to refreshing, original and extremely catchy music.
Can't wait for more to come. :)

We just got back from seeing these talented artists play at the Vans Warped Tour--they put on a fantastic show--on our over one hour ride home we listened to this album and were blown away! Excellently mixed, great song variety and tightly performed, the White Tie Affair offers great music for teens (child I took) to over 40 (me).
