Kalapana was formed by Mackey Feary Jr., Malani Bilyeu, D.J. Pratt & Kirk Thompson. The band's first album, "Kalapana" was a smash hit. They followed with "Kalapana 2." Although, the original band didn't stay together long, fans all over the world, continue to enjoy their music, to this day.

All of the songs in this CD are really masterpieces of a band that really represent Hawaiian Popjazz at its finest. Classics like Right from the start, I'll always be with you and the album track Walk upon the water are hidden gems. Too bad that this CD is very rare. Highly recommended.
