5.0 out of 5 stars Sheek Louch - Walk Witt Me
I've listen to this album for a while now and there's only a one word to describe Sheek's 'Walk Witt Me'. Gangsta. The album is definately for the streets. First track that hits me is 'Turn It Up' with a banger-beat produced by the legendary Alchemist. Sheek's lyrics are on point on this track. Other standout tracks to me are 'I Ain't Forget', 'Walk Witt Me', 'Crazzy',...

3.0 out of 5 stars D-Block Presents......Sheek Louch
The game has been waiting, and waiting....and waiting, but Sheek Mutha ... Louch finally came through with his debut album,"Walk Witt Me". After blazing the streets with various mixtapes (all block busters) and dishing out straight-to-the-point-metaphorical-street-rhymes, I can really say Sheek has enourmous street credibility, what I can't say though...is that...

The song called 'OK' could be the second single from the album. But in the end, Sheek Louch keeps it real. 'Walk Witt Me' isn't far away from being a classic, believe me!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great solo from Sheek, December 9, 2004
By
This review is from: Walk Witt Me (Audio CD)
The last LOX member to release a solo does a good job like the other 2 members. All LOX solo albums are tight (and better than the group efforts) and this continues that trend. Has 1 classic, 7 great songs and the rest are all good. All songs are straight gangsta (even the deeper songs), but what else do you expect from the LOX. Not one weak track on the whole album and the only guests are fellow D-Block members. Production is handled by Supa MArio & Vinny Idol (do 5 songs), Liveson does 2, Mr. Devine does 3, Cocoa Chanel, ALChemist, Green Lantern, and DJ Twinz all do 1. A must have album for all rap fans, and one of the best of '03.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sheek Louch - Walk Witt Me, September 16, 2003
This review is from: Walk Witt Me (Audio CD)
Sheek Louch's (Sean Jacobs) debut solo album "Walk Witt Me" (2003) is good. The Lox are a group I have followed for a long time, Jadakiss and Styles got there solos out, and now Sheek has gotten his shot dropping his and D-Block Records first album. The first two tracks on this did not stand out to much for me then Alchemist produced "Turn it Up" impresses followed up by the hardcore "How many Guns". Some of the tracks that really stood out for me, that I think will have longest replay value for me include: "I Ain't Forgot" where Sheek talks about coming up with the Lox, title track "Walk Witt Me" where Sheek looks for a better place- where there is peace, freedom, and people can get by without crime. Another exceptional track is "How I Love You" feat. Styles P, a powerful track where Sheek talks about himself and his love for Hip Hop, though one could initially mistake it for a track about a lady as another reviewer did. These kind of reflective tracks show Sheek can drop more then bangers. Sheek recollects on "3-5-4 (Tarrentino)" telling a grimey story. The one thing I would of liked to see on this album is more tracks, since there are a few I just did not feel ( IE For You, Ok). I like the D-Block (Sheek, Jada,Styles, Jae Hood) collabration tracks on this one like "Don't Mean Nothing" & Mighty D-Block (2 Guns Up) both of these are memorable. Another thing I like about this album is Sheek keeps this album street, keeping guest appearances down to his people and not really making any tracks for mainstream. End of day this may result in less album sales with the benefit being better music. Recommend checking out "Walk Witt Me" if you like the Lox, Sheek has shown he can hold his own as a solo artist. Also look forward to Lox's third album currently named "Live, Suffer, Celebrate".

5.0 out of 5 stars D-Block is taking over, August 15, 2004

After hearing both of Jada's albums (kiss tha game goodbye and the kiss death), Styles gangster and a gentlemen and Sheek's Walk witt me album it has become quite clear that NOBODY is hotter than D-Block. They all spit fire over every track that they do and are the hardest mawF**ker's this side of the pen. Jada spits his raspy flow like no other, Styles goes HARD and Sheek spits his swift flow all over the tracks. With J-Hood's album commin out you better believe that the game will never be the same. Cop this album if you hard for the streets. F*ck bad boy D-block is taking over

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD, May 27, 2004
By
This review is from: Walk Witt Me (Audio CD)
I have listened to this cd over 50 times without skipping any songs and still do since this album is so good.
My favorite songs are I Aint' Forget, Walk Witt Me, and both D-block songs. 3-5-4 (Tarrentino) is like a story and How I Love You is probably the soft song on this album but it is still pretty good.
I may sound crazy but since this is my first time ever listening to Sheek Louch I have to put him up there with the first time I ever listened to 2pac in "Me Againest The World". Both albums a classic. Now I just have to wait for Jadakisss Kiss Of Death, and J-Hoods solo debut album later on this year.
I also recommend this CD along with Jadakisss "Kiss The Game Goodbye", as some songs have the same beat

5.0 out of 5 stars Do Not Sleep on this One..., January 8, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Walk Witt Me (Audio CD)
Probably the most solid solo project out of The Lox camp since Jadakiss. Sheek has always spit fire from day one and this album "Walk Witt Me" does not dissapoint. If you feeling that hardcore street ish- you will definitely need to cop this one. I personally have been waiting for Sheek to drop. I always thought he was a clever lyricist- not as flashy as Jada, but solid in his speech and delivery. You more than likely will not hear this on commercial radio like Styles got play- but if you are a "real" hip-hop head that is feeling stylish lyrics and beats you should cop this- like yesterday. ****For the ladies, he's kinda sexy too!

4.0 out of 5 stars Most Slept On Rap Album of The Year, December 1, 2003

I know I thought that sheek's album would definately be the whackest one of the lox's solo outings but I must admit that he shocked the hell out of me and offered up the hottest LOX related CD since WE ARE THE STREETS. If You are into that D-Block signature sound (hood tales, grimey beats & nuff gun/knife talk) then this album is the best bet for you. Suprisingly, Sheek came out spittin harder than I've ever heard him on W.W.M. Powerful music & a clear direction make this one of the top 5 of the year easy. From start to finish this IS REAL GANGSTA MUSIC. Go cop one & support the boy Louch. This CD is the truth, but I guess I wasnt the only one that slept cuz the label didnt promote it at all and I dont think its selling that well. I first burned my copy, but the disc was so fire, a chick got me for it while I was out of the car (can you believe a female even wanted a d-Block related CD?!! That should let you know how serious the disc is!) Instead of burning it again I decided to throw some money at the God. He deserves it (and I NEVER buy CD's so that says alot). Go download a couple joints & see what I mean. Then do the boy a favor; cop the cd (not the bootleg) & help Sheek do his numbers.
