I purchased this coloring book for my 8 year old nephew. He loves to color but does not like the basic color books. This book is very detailed and offers children a challenge. In addition it has a lot of information about each scene, teaching children. Beautiful book.

This is an excellent coloring book for adults who like to color, it has fine detail, fine coloring detail. it is a great collectors item

If your child enjoys animals, then he/she will enjoy this coloring book. It has realistic pictures of animals in their natural habitat. Also included at the bottom of each page is a desciption of flowers, insects, etc. seen in the background or foreground.

I just purchased these Dover COloring Books for my mother and she loves them. The detail is out of this world and the variety of colors you can use are only limited by your inagination. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This A Walk In The Woods coloring book is quite detailed and is good for older children or adults that enjoy work with colored pencils. There is a wide variety of wildlife to enjoy and discriptive information about the flora and fauna on each page. It is challenging, and a delightful learning experience.

the pictures are great for my little ones to color. they enjoy hearing the descriptions under the pictures as well.

I really love how detailed this coloring book is! It is geared for the artist-at-heart. I enjoy all the details in the pictures.

Nice pictures...I bought this for an adult friend of mine who enjoys coloring. Nice woodsy scenes....She very much enjoyed the book!

A wonderful book to color which also includes stories and information along the way. However, in my humble opinion, if you want to be really accurate in the coloring - it might be helpful to do some research online and print out a photo of such animal, bird, plant, etc. It is a challenge, and even more so it is a "HOMEMADE TOUCH" especially to a child or children when they see that their parents, grandparents or relatives "colored it" making it all special and unique.

You, yourself, might find some interesting information as you work along the way.

PS: Don't be surprised if you hear your little one say "Read it again!"

Very nice, relaxing book. As an adult I found it fun to color. I used pencils and they go on nice and smooth. Paper is quite sturdy and I love the nature pictures.
